Omni gets out of the car and walks into Solo's house. He sits on one of the couches and puts his hair into a ponytail. "Let's get you in a shirt." Solo grabs an Aphex Twin shirt and Omni puts it on. "What the fuck happened to you?" Solo asks. "You know what happened. While you were off running a cafe I was taking orders from mob bosses." Omni replies. "We're in two different worlds." Omni looks to the side. "Well then why can't you just stop!? Stop killing people! Taking orders from people you shouldn't be taking orders from!" Solo hits the table. "You scare me! Your reckless attitude is going to get you killed or tortured or expiremented on!" Solo starts crying. "I don't want to lose you again!" Omni tears up too. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry." Solo runs up to Omni and hugs him. "Please be careful at Star's. And don't forget to visit me, okay?" Solo asks. Omni nods. "I think I'd like that."
The next day Star wakes up, Omni's already up grabbing breakfast. Once Star walks in to grab breakfast she realizes that Omni is laughing. "What's so funny?" Omni stops laughing. "Why are you so scared of me?" Omni says, giggling. "How did yo-" Star is cut off. "You dreamt about me chasing you with an axe!" Star starts speaking. "It's just the thought that someone can know my every move, every thought, and can control it." Omni giggles. "Why are you so happy about this?" Omni and Star say at the same time. "Cause I can mess with you!" Omni clicks an imaginary pen. "Click." Star is suddenly holding a pen, already clicked. "What the fuck!? WHAT THE FUCK?!"
Omni laughs freely. Star's stone glows. "Woah, whats the stone for?" Omni asks. "Um, well, whenever I'm upset or scared or mad I turn into a beast. This stone keeps it at Bay." Omni looks at her a bit weirdly. "That's cool. I don't have a cool beast form." Star giggles. "You could pretend you do." Omni blushes a bit. "You're pretty cu-" Omni's face goes white and goes back to eating. "Does Solo have powers?" Star asks. "Electricity. He can control electric currents. He hasn't practiced as much as I have but he has those powers. What about you?" Star looks a bit surprised. "Do you have a rock somewhere?" Omni grabs a stone from a counter. "Weird you have a stone here." He passes the stone to Star. With a wave of her hand the stone turns into a tree statue. "I use lot of rocks, and usually I have stone sculptures everywhere but I threw a lot of them away." Omni looks a bit confused. "Why did you throw them away?" Star looks at Omni. "My power has nothing to do with therapy and that's my main job." Omni puts his hand on Star's shoulder. "You should use your gifts more often."
Star meets up with Solo the next day. "He likes me." Solo laughs. "No way." "Yes way! He said I was cute and turned away!" Solo laughs "Hes not liked anyone before! You should take this chance!" Star giggles "He scares me." "Yeah he kind of scares me too, but he's very kind. He just, didn't choose his life wisely." Star looks down. "I think he could start a new life." "Me too."
Omni jolts awake and starts crying. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Star hugs Omni. "Sh it's okay it's okay. It's all over now." Omni's sobbing into Star's shoulder. "I'm so sorry I'm sorry. I hurt them." Star tries desperately to calm Omni down. "I killed all these people who could have lived full lives. I did this. I'm sorry." Star hugs Omni tight. "You're going to be fine." Omni looks up at Star and wipes his eyes. "Thank you." Omni smiles sweetly. "I don't know if I deserve this, but thank you." Star begins to think. I could, I could use this guy at my therapy. For those stubborn types. Let me try it. "Hey I want to try something." "How many people did they hurt and do they have remorse." Star smiles. "I kind of hate that you know what I'm thinking." Omni smiles. "50 at least and they have no remorse. I can handle them."
Star's trying to handle a patient. She texts Omni. "This is the one." "I'm on my way." Omni opens up the door. "He's here to hopefully get you to talk." The man laughs. "This scrawny little bitch. He's not gonna intimidate me." Omni smiles. He knows this game. "Are you sure?" Omni asks. The man keeps laughing. "Go ahead! Do your worst." Omni nods. "You asked." Suddenly he transports the man into a hospital. "Your first kill. You shot up this place after your wife died." Suddenly his wife appears on one of the beds. "This is her right?" The man tears up. "Stop. Stop it please." Omni giggles. "Alright. Oh here comes you now!" The same man comes, anger in his eyes. "You were so blinded by lack of remorse that you killed everyone in cold blood, including your wife." Omni waves his hand and suddenly there's blackness. "Step back for a minute and realize what your anger has done for you." The man starts sobbing. They're back in the office now. Star is shocked. She whispers to Omni. "What the hell did you do!?" "Showed him his saddest moment, and told him why it happened." Omni replies. "You fucking broke him!" Star says. "He'll be reasonable now I'll tell you that much."
After the therapy session Star walks upstairs to find Omni listening to music. "Oh hi! I was just making up a world in my head. How did the rest of the session go?" Star looks at him. "He was a lot more reasonable than I thought he would be! He did break down twice." Omni giggles. "That felt satisfying. You wanna join me?" Star looked at him, puzzled. "Um, sure." Omni reached out his hand. Star held it and they were suddenly at a beach. "Look up." Omni said. Star looked up to find a perfect mirror reflection of the sunset on the beach. Her eyes started to fill up with tears. "This is beautiful." She stated. Omni's eyes filled with tears too. "I'm glad." Omni turned Star's face towards his. "I'm sorry." Suddenly Omni pulled Star in for a kiss. Star embraces the kiss. "Solo told me to take this chance. And I will." Omni smiles wide. "Yes!" Omni hugs Star tight. "Life is going to get crazy." Omni says. "At this point, I'm ready to take that risk." Star replies.
Solo turns to Omni and Star. "It's been a week!" They nod. "Yeah we know." Omni says. Solo paces. "But you said literally three days ago you were scared of him!" Solo says, baffled by the situation. "Yes we know! I took the chance you told me to take. I realized that he is much nicer than I thought." Omni looked confused. "You, told her t- what?!" Solo looks at Omni. "Yes I told her that if you offered if she should take the chance. I just want a new life for you. One without the pain. One without the need to cry yourself to sleep every night. I, hope she can give that to you." Omni hugs Solo suddenly. "I'll visit." Omni says. "Thank you."
