02 - trouble;

Your POV

It was the next day and you were getting ready for school. You headed downstairs and saw a note left on the table. You didn't see your mother elsewhere.

You picked up the note and read it.

Dear Y/N,

There was an emergency call at work today and I had to leave early. I'll be gone till late so please look after yourself in the meantime.

Mom

You put down the letter and headed out to go. Somebody suddenly called out  your name.

"Y/N!"
"Oh hey.."

Jungkook came jogging towards you.

"Are you ready for the test today..?"
"Yah, shouldn't I be asking you that?"

You both laughed.

That was a very hard exam. Luckily you studied enough. You could imagine what Jungkook's score would be.

"Yah aesaekk-"

"Shhhh!" He shushed you.

"What?"
"I don't want everyone to know that I am an aesaekki."

You laughed.

"So you admit.."

"Um, NO!" He replied, with a hint of guilt in his tone.

"Sure..."

Just then, a girl walked up to you.

"Hello, are you Min y/n??"

"Huh? Well, yeah. Why?" You enquired.

"Y-you got second place for the whole level in the math exam!
I'm here to congratualte you! ....Oh and you too Jeon Jungkook!" She sheepishly explained.

Jungkook and you stared at each other, puzzled.

You were second place...

Who was first?

We ran to the notice board and you found out that you got a score of 94%.

On the other hand, Jungkook..

Got a score of...98%.

"WHA-"

Jungkook covered your mouth and looked at the notice board.

"Ha! I got first place!"

"BUT THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" You shrieked.

"Stop screaming, will ya?"

You don't believe it!

How can this aesaekki get a higher score than you when he didn't study?

He really is something..

"Better luck next time Y/N, hah!"

Jungkook said as he went off to his classroom.

You walked to yours but somebody pulled your hand.

"Yah, what do you want?" You asked in an irritated tone.

3 boys surrounded you, making you flinch.

"You're Min Y/N right?"

"y-yes..?"

One of them was busy talking to you when the other snatched your backpack, emptying it out.

"HEY, THAT'S MINE!"

You tried to snatch it back but one of the boys pulled you back.

"HELP!"
