Chapter 24 "Please"

Your POV

You looked at Jungkook and how wide his eyes have widened.

There stood Yeonmi, pressing her lips on another guy.

As she spotted you and Jungkook, she immediately pushed the guy away from her.

"Jungkook! It's not what it looks lik--"

Before she could finish her sentence, Jungkook left.

"Kookie.. wait!"

She ran after him.

The guy who she was making out with stood there, confused.

"Get to class.." you told him.

He nodded and left.

You decided to follow the path Jungkook ran off to and you found Yeonmi, crying whilst walking.

You ran after her.

"Yeonmi!! Where did Jungkook go?!" You yelled.

"Why do you care?! He's not even yours.." she snapped.
"Neither is he yours," you shot. "Now where is he?"

"I don't know, okay? Can you just get lost?!"
"Ugh.."

You headed off to the storeroom and you heard sobbing noises.

"Yeobseyeo? Jungkook is that you?"

"Open up.."

"Please..?"

He opened the door slowly. "What."

"Are you okay?"
"No."
"Come on.. you told me you didn't love her.."

He looked away. "It just hurts, for some reason. I had a little bit of feelings towards her, I guess.."

You nodded. "I know. You both were dating. It must've hurt. But please come out, we're going to be late for class.."

"I don't wanna." He softly replied.

Sigh..

You took out your lighter and lit up a flame. "Jungkook, I wish that you would come out now and that you won't cry anymore."

After that, you blew the tiny flame out.

Jungkook smiled slightly before wodely opening the door.

"There you ar--"

Before you could say anything else, he leaned in and hugged you warmly.

You felt warm and assured. Like nothing bad will ever happen again.

You gently stroked his hair. "We should get to class now."

He nodded and both of you headed to class.

After classes

You walked over to Nayun. "Nayun.. what's up?"

"Everything's good!" She said with a smile. "So.. are you gonna go after Jungkook now that he and Yeonmi aren't a thing anymore?" She playfully teased.

"Aniya.." you chuckled as you lightly hit her arm.

Just then, you received a text message.

Jungkook: Meet me at the park now.
-

Weird.

"Who is it?" Asked Nayun.
"A friend, I need to go now."

She nodded and you left for the park.

There stood Jungkook, waving at you.

You then ran to him. "Yah tokki..what is it?" You chuckled.

"I wanted to give you a little present. Close your eyes.."

You smiled and you used your palms to cover your face.

Just then, he leaned in and took your hands. He lowered your hands and you made eye contact with him.

You could feel his breath against your face.

"..Jungkook..?"

He then landed his lips onto yours.
