1650, England
A mid the dank room the energy grew heavy, Angie gestured Rozaline to the cluttered desk in the corner.
"How do I get even", Rozaline asked while making her way to the desk. Angie shuffled through a dusty old leather bound book before answering.
"This", she said and pointed to a picture of a set up identical to the one laying on the floor, "I will make you like me" Angie exclaimed. Rozaline paused for a moment not sure of this and feeling a bit uneasy do I want to be like her ? She asked herself she's powerful, immortal, but do I really want to be ....
"A witch?" Angie answered
"Yes" Rozaline said feeling a little embarrassed
"I'm not going to lie, it has its perks but it also takes a toll on the mind, power is an intoxicating thing." Angie explained
"What kind of power ?" Rozaline asked curiously.
"Curiosity killed the cat darling" Angie said in a playful tone
She could feel Angie using her charm to entice her into this.
"The power to do anything, read minds, control anyone.... end anyone" Angie explained Rozaline was interested, but knew this could very well just be a morbid curiosity.
"Although I will warn you your appearance changes" Angie said thumbing through her book once more then landing on a page with a mirror on it. She gestured for Rozaline to sit down, she looked in the mirror as Angie began the incantation on the adjacent page.Skin white as snow
Eyes cold as ice
Hair black as night
Heart devoid of life
Corrupt in beauty
A soul stealer of men
She will live forever
Live to kill againAs Angie spoke the words Rozaline's face began to change in the mirror in front of her, her skin lost its pink flush, her hair grew darker than coal, her skin clang to her bones chiseling her cheekbones and jawline, her eyes turned nearly white with only a hint of blue. Her features were striking, more striking than ever before. But as Angie finished the words her face took its original form.
" Wow" Rozaline said stunned looking into the mirror
"Yes, wow indeed" Angie said "But as wow as it all is there are certain things you must abide by" Angie said
"Like what ?" Rozaline inquired
" Every full moon we must make a sacrifice of sorts" Angie answered
"What kind of sacrifice?" Rozaline felt uneasy once more.
"Mostly animals, can be anything really as long as it was once alive and now it's dead" Angie answered
"I can manage that" Rozaline said
"Do not ever miss a full moon" Angie said "You will shrivel into dust and cease to exist"
"Okay, is there anything else I need to know?" Rozaline said
"Everyone of us in this world was turned for a purpose, we answer to Baphomet he is our supreme ruler whom gives us this power hence the sacrifices. As you are being turned during the ceremony you will have a vision of your purpose." Angie said intently " It will be very clear you will have a glimpse into the future."
Rozaline nodded her head. " I think I'm ready" Rozaline felt her worries wash away, what could be better she could get even, never get caught, and have a set purpose for the rest of her life.
Angie guided her to the floor with the pillow and blanket a mid the pentagram, she laid Rozaline down and picked up of the jar of murky yellow oil.
"Close your eyes" she said
Rozaline felt Angie rub the oil on her lips, eyelids, sternum, and inner wrists. Angie stood up going to her shelf to get ,what Rozaline was hoping was, red paint. She made a stripe from her forehead to her nose, then tearing the bodice of Rozaline's dress, made a pentagram on her stomach. Angie stood up chanting a latin phrase Rozaline couldn't understand, and sprinkling her with ram's blood as she did it. Repeating the chant over and over the room grew thick and intense the world seemed to be going a million miles and hour it felt like chaos. Angie reached her hand down to Rozaline's face and jabbed her first and middle fingers into Rozaline's eyes. Rozaline screamed in agony then found herself in a room, a very hot room made of stone, in front of her stood a mirror plated with gold and ornate carvings . A voice from an unknown source said, "look, listen, don't question"
As the voice rang her form changed in front of her, she looked the same as she did in the mirror with Angie. Except there were men all around her sitting in chairs in a circle all staring at her, they looked to be of similar social class to Sullivan, wealthy, good looking..... before Rozaline could finish her thought the voice rang out once more.
"Yes, but besides their wealth and their good looks they have one thing in common, they are liars, cheaters, money grabbers, disgusting pigs of people." The voice said
"What is my business with them?" Rozaline said.
" You will entice them, make certain they never have a doubt in their mind about you, and after exactly 245 days of marriage kill them according to their sin" the voice explained
"Then I will deal with them from their" the voice said with a malicious chuckle.
"If you must bear a child as a result of keeping their mind doubtless you must kill the child as well none of their blood maybe living." The voice boomed
"There are seven in total you will kill one once every hindered years, after those 700 years are up you may do with your powers as you please" the voice explained
"I can do that... but their is one thing I must know." Rozaline said
"And what is that my pet?",The voice rang
"Who are you ?" Rozaline inquired
"The man of many nightmares my dear, the one you answer to from this moment fourth" the voice boomed with scornful laughter.
Rozaline rose from her position on the floor violently gasping her breath.
Angie grabbed her shoulders staring intently into her eyes, "was your mission clear?" She asked.
"Crystal" Rozaline said still stunned ,as her now black hair fell into her face.
