/28/ He Just Gave Up

Zack's P.O.V.

"What?!" I shouted angrily at Chris.

"I give up," Chris repeated, looking down. "Tyler's right. Maybe we're just not meant for each other," he sighs.

I can't believe I'm hearing this from him. He gives up...... On Vixie? Nah, he can't. He just can't.

"Dude, you don't mean that," I said to him.

The two of us were alone, Tyler and Kaitlyn left because Chris said he was done with trying.

"I just can't anymore..... Yeah, I love her, but I messed up big time. And maybe we're not really meant to be. I mean, she's famous and me? She could care less about me. To her, I'm just a guy who left her for three years. And she's touring now.... Who knows, maybe in those 10 months, she'll find someone new, someone who'll love her more than I did, soneone who can treat her better than I than I did, someone who can give her what she needs and what she wants, and......someone better. Than me." Chris trailed off. (A/N: Do some of the words sound familiar? Shawny❤)

"Dude, are you sure about this?" I asked.

"I wanna make her happy," Chris replied.

"No, I mean, yeah, it'll make her happy but..... Will this decision make you happy?" I asked him.

He thought about it for a minute before answering.

"Yes," he replied. "If this will make Vixie happy, then I'll be happy."

"Okay then..." I surrendered.

It was his choice. I can't really force him into something that he doesn't want to do anymore. Even though Chrisie is done, I'll always remember it....

"Lol.... what?" A voice said, laughing.

"Uh, who are you?" I asked.

"I'm Batman!" The voice said, in a deep voice.

"Oh shut up, I can tell you're a girl. Now, who are you?" I asked.

"Bro, who are you talking to?" Chris asked, looking at me weirdly.

"There's this voice, don't you hear it?" I asked him.

"Uhm, no. I'm gonna go to my room," He quickly left and closed the door to my room.

"Okay, back to your question," The voice spoke again. "I'm the author of your lives... well, Vixie and Chris' life, actually,"

"Wait, wut?" I asked, confused.

"I broke the third wall...... I'm Nix," The voice--I mean, Nix said. (A/N: My real nickname is Nix and I got the inspiration to make Vixie a name cause one day.. I was just imagining some character names and wanted them to be extraordinary. I just played with my nickname so I just thought, Kix, Tix and then I got to the letter "V" and it sounded Vix. I always thought that the letter V sounded so cool, but I describe my main character a bit sweet.... Some of my friends call me Nixie 'cause they thought that the name was really cute. Therefore, I thought to myself and made the name "Vixie". It sounded so sweet and innocent but also awesome and cool to me. So my character name became Vixie.)

"Wait, so, you can control what happens here?" I asked.

"Yeah, and I know that you're thinking, what about she makes Vixie and Chris end up together? No can do! Sorry not sorry!" she giggled.

"Dang it.. this is why I hate authors," I mumbled.

"If say that one more time, I'm kicking you out of the story!" Nix warned.

"Sorry!" I apologized immediately. I don't want to be erased by an author....
