Make it cool like Shadow Ninja or something.

Liv's point of view

The room still smelt of smoke and mango's. The boys were sitting around learning off their aliases. It was funny how they just dropped somewhere, Alex was leaning against the cabinets in the kitchen, Noah was sprawled across the couch, Miles was draped across his bed probably asleep and Monroe was sat at the kitchen table, they were all looking at their files except for Miles.

I was starting to get restless, it is quarter past three and have been sitting in the same armchair for the last two hours trying, and i mean trying to learn all of this useless information about Victoria Debussy my undercover self.

I am supposed to be majoring in dance at the New York Academy of Arts. At least i can dance, I studied dance for most of my life but since Red Mercury my free time has been otherwise occupied. Agent Merwins knowledge of this makes me think he has been watching me since I first became Red Mercury.

"Can we go train now? I'm sick of just sitting here looking at this and i'm probably out of  practise way more than you are." It wasn't all a lie, i knew i could probably kick all their asses in thirty seconds but i wasn't going to let them know that. I'm supposed to be new, less skilled... a girl as Monroe would put it.

"Oh are you bored? Poor you, lets all stop learning this," Monroe said waving his file at me, "and later on when one of us blows our cover we can blame, Princess over here." Monroe argued.

I scowled at him but before I could argue, miles interrupts," Ha, look Liv, seems that you aren't the only one who can come up with nicknames. Can someone make me one?" Noah and Alex gave each other irritated glares, while I shook my head in disapproval. "Make it cool like Shadow Ninja or something."

Noah tried as hard as he could but couldn't stop the laugh from erupting from his throat, it was a nice sound to hear, refreshing from the usual screams and cries, i've been hearing lately. "Your nickname, could and would only be nuisance." He chuckled, ducking his head down when Miles through a shoes his way.

Finally Alex spoke, setting his file on the kitchen counter and pushing himself towards the door. "Okay, fine lets go."

He guided me out of the apartment, leading me down a long set of hallways, we passed other rooms all with signs on the doors either of a team name or a meeting room, the walls were so white, to be honest the whole hall was platinum, not even a picture decorated the wall.

We finally stopped outside a door with a sign that said 'weapons room' in big black writing, how subtle. Alex opened the door, revealing a massive room about three times the size of the apartment. There were wooden benches lining the edge of the room and a row of lockers in the far right corner of the room. A massive cupboard sat beside the lockers, which i'm guessing is full of weapons and ammunition.

Alex handed me a small key, guiding me towards the lockers, "You get Colton's locker, basically you get everything that used to be Colton's," his face grew sad, a frown forming across it.

I didn't want to ask but i want to know what happened to colton and where he is now. As if he could read my mind he answered, "He was killed three months ago, in a mission in Seattle, we were in a hotel called The Mongolia, planning a sneak attack on a group planning to bomb the space needle, when they broke in and attacked us," I was silent listening to Alex retell the story of the death of his team mate.

I couldn't help but feel bad, its like I am replacing Colton, which I technically am but I didn't want the team to hate me for it. Alex continued, "We were out numbered but Colton stayed behind to hold them off," Alex let out a sigh, "so we could get the information we needed and footage of them planting the bombs, when we got to the car, the hotel exploded and Colton was still inside, including a lot of civilians."
