Hi everybody! Thank you for reading. I don't have a whole lot of reads though, so please spread the word and read the updates that will be here almost every afternoon. I really want your feedback. Please tell me what I can fix, or if you have any suggestions for future chapters. I haven't gotten any comments from anybody I don't know personally, so please take a couple seconds and just say what you have to say. It doesn't take that long. If you don't have time for that, simply vote or become a fan. I have nearly no fans or votes; please don't leave me lonely forever! ;D This chapter's a bit long, but not reeeeally. Enjoy! Love you!

Chapter 4
Abby’s phone rang, startling us out of our conversation.
She had a quick, agitated conversation before hanging. “I’ve got to go and take Luke to the hospital. He fell down the stairs at school and both my parents are at work,” she explained, rolling her eyes and getting up.
Luke is Abby’s 10 year old, accident-prone brother.
I hugged her goodbye and started home.

I walked in the house and found Mum sitting at the table with her head in her hands. Ivy Rose sat next to her, awkwardly patting her arm and looking upset.
“Ivy, what happened?” I asked.
She looked up and I saw that her eyes were red from crying. “The landlady called today.”
That is never, ever a good sign.
She continued, “She found out that there are 5 of us living here, and you know that there’s a strict 4 person rule. One of us has to leave or we’ll get evicted.”
I let out an involuntary gasp. “Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no.”
There was no way we could move. This was one of the few apartments in the entire school district that we could afford, and we were settled here.
“Mum?” I asked softly.
“I just need some time to think,” she said, her voice shaky. “All 4 of you go to the park, please.”
I nodded and kissed her cheek. “We’ll be back in an hour or so.”
Ivy Rose and I rounded up Daisy and Malli and together we walked to the park.
“How do think the landlady found out?” I asked Ivy Rose as I pushed Daisy on the swing.
“One of the neighbors must have complained. God, this is all my fault for not keeping the girls quieter while I watched them. And now I’m going to have to leave. Serves me right, I guess.”
I shook my head. “It’s not your fault.”
Ivy just sighed and turned her attention back to Malli.
