Lynette
I sigh deeply as I run my dirt-and-oil-infested fingers through my messily braided hair. I was currently in the hanger and sitting on the right wing of my Spitfire and watching the sunset. My cup of tea for stress. I take another bite of my protein bar and take another swig of my water. Man, I miss home and normality.
"They told me I'd find you here." I hear an all too familiar Irish voice say behind me. I glanced over my shoulder and Niall is standing there, looking good in the camouflage uniforms that we have to wear. Wait what? I shake the thought out of my head and a new one pops in; how the hell has he recovered this quickly after being in a coma for three bloody years?!
"Mind if I join you?" He asks, breaking me away from my thoughts. I nod and he climbs onto the wing, taking a seat next to me. "Look, I'm s--"
"Why were you in a coma?" I interrupt him. I mentally smack myself for how dumb the question sounded coming out of my mouth. How the hell is he supposed to know!
"I dunno. One minute I'm holding you in my arms then the next I couldn't wake up." Niall answers a little harshly. I offer him some water and he gladly accepts, nodding a 'thank you'.
"I knew you weren't dead. I just knew it!" I exclaim, mostly talking to myself.
Niall hold my hand and I feel some sort of...electricity run through me. I feel the heat rise to my cheeks and I quickly pull my hand away. I look up at Niall's face and his embarrassment makes me mentally facepalm myself.
"So what do you do here?" Niall questions awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.
"I'm the head aircraft engineer, a pilot, commanding ground soldier, and head of medical." I list.
"Wow, how the hell do you have time for all of that?" I shrug. "What can I do?"
"Well, if you were a normal person that just woken up from a three-year-coma, you would need a full month of rest but seeing that you've recovered quickly, you don't need that rest period." I chuckle. "But you can start your training and see where you should go."
"Well, when do I start?" Niall asks eagerly.
"Easy there, killer." I stop him, nervously chuckling. "You did just hear me say that you just woke up from a year-long coma and your functioning perfectly, right?"
"You said it yourself, I'm fine." Niall says sternly. "Why are you holding me back?" The firey and determined look that clouded Niall's brilliant blue eyes scared me because that's always had in my eyes.
"Please just take a couple of days to rest then I'll teach you everything I know." I sigh. Niall's eyes gleamed and he smiled like a little kid. I feel my stomach churn at his smile and crave to see him do it more.
I think I'm falling for Niall Horan.

Harry squeezes his eyes shut and tenses as I start cutting off his hair. When I finish, I drop the cut-off ponytail in his lap and tell him to open his eyes.
"What. Did. You. DO?!" Harry gasps dramatically, running his fingers through his now short hair. His hand gropes the back of his head, where his long hair used to be, and his face turns to pure horror. "You. Didn't."
I grab the cut-off ponytail from his lap and tapped his nose with it as his face is still horror-struck. "Yep, I did."
"Honey, I'm ho--- holy shit!" Louis exclaims as he walks into the room. "What the hell happened?"
