Rachel's POV

"How did you get here," I asked my other friend from the real world.

"I have absolutely no idea," Adam answered, "I just closed my eyes and then I was here. I heard you sing and I decided I needed to talk to you."

"What happened to me?" I wondered aloud.

"You're laid up in a medically induced coma for your large hit with a mirror."

"Makes sense," I nod my head then look around, "We should probably talk somewhere else, who knows who'll be listening."

Adam nodded, understanding exactly what I meant. We went to the dressing room and I soundproofed it to make sure no one could hear.

"So we're in the musical?" Adam asked and I nodded.

"Yes," I answered, "We are and we're right before Don Juan Triumphant."

"Okay then," Adam nodded, "Now give me a rundown on what you've changed, so we can prevent the final scene, because knowing how much has been affected can prevent how bad the turnout could be."

"Agreed," I nodded my head in agreement then gave the whole rundown on what's happened so far, "Now your plan is?"

"Alright, so let's throw the whole ship off course," Adam stated, "After, 'Point of No Return,' just give a signal and we'll be right there with you."

"We?" I asked. Then there was a knock at my door. I opened it to reveal the whole dance team.

"All of you are here?" I ask them.

"Well yeah," one of the girls nodded, "We're all in this together."

"Alright, so you guys, fill me in," I tell them and they explain to me their plan.

Heh not telling ya, you need to continue reading.

Time Skip

"I'm ready for this," I look into the dressing room mirror and adjust the costume so, it's ready to go. I pinned my hair in a half up half down look and there was a knock at my door. I opened it and there Adam was.

"You ready?" he asked me.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I answered. He took my hand and escorted me to the wings of the stage. I watched the performance from the wings.

"Here the sire may serve the dam," the chorus begins to sing in one clump, "Here the master takes his meat!
Here the sacrificial lamb
Utters one despairing bleat!"
Then Carlotta joined the chorus members. Desperate to be heard, she sings many octaves higher than written, as well as more exaggerated. Well some things just will never change.

"Poor young maiden! For the thrill
On your tongue of stolen sweets
You will have to pay the bill
Tangled in the winding sheets!"
They crossed across the stage and continued to sing.
"Serve the meal and serve the maid!
Serve the master so that, when
Tables, plans and maids are laid
Don Juan triumphs once again!"
Piangi enters as Don Juan from behind the arch. Meg, who's portraying a gypsy dancer, pirouettes coquettishly for him. He throws her a purse. She catches it and dances with two other girls before exiting off stage.

"Passarino, faithful friend
Once again, recite the plan," Piangi sang to the actor that plays Passarino.

"Your young guest believes I'm you
I, the master; you, the man," Passarino sang the monologue.

"When you met, you wore my cloak
With my scarf, you hid your face
She believes she dines with me
In her master's borrowed place!
Furtively, we'll scoff and quaff
Stealing what, in truth, is mine
When it's late and modesty
Starts to mellow, with the wine," Piangi sings.
