Change.

I sit in the passenger seat, stunned by his sudden statement.
I swallow hard, not knowing what to say. I couldn't even look at him. He grabs my arm,

"Hey... look at me."

It felt as if I was meeting him for the first time again.

I can feel his hand shaking as he was gripping my arm. I reached up and placed my hand over his. I really didn't know what to say at the moment but all I did next was remove his hand off of me.
"Nari, Im sorry for how I treated you. I bought you for a certain reason and I then started to have feelings for you and I didn't want to that to happen so I was just mean to you, hoping that I would lose feelings for you." He breaths out.

Lies, it's all just lies, I said to myself. My eyes started to tear up. Does he honestly think i'll believe that?

"I swear to you. I genuinely like you. I want to start all over with you. There's just something about you that makes me think about you everyday." He says in a soft voice.
Ugh stop... I don't want to hear this anymore....
"I see you with Sehun and I just can't stand it. You look at him a certain way, you act a certain way towards him, and I see you so happy with him."

He pauses and I look into his eyes.

"Do I make you happy?" he asks.

"No.... not really."
This is the time I need to tell him how I feel.
"You kept me locked in a house, you only want me for sex, you hit me, you abuse me, and I don't really think you care about me."

Jongin looks down and clenches his fists.
"So you hate me.." he says in a disappointed tone.

"No.. I don't. I care about you, despite how you treat me, there's something about you that makes me think about you all the time too."

Jongin becomes more visibly upset and he turns away from me.
I sigh out loud.  I hate seeing him like this, so weak.

"If you just treated me nicely, we wouldn't be having this talk. I know you bought me and i'm "yours" but everything would of been fine if you weren't always hurting me."
I can feel my eyes begin to water, I don't want to cry, I can't let this get to me.

"Can you give me a second chance?" he asks, his back still turned to me.

I bite my lip.

"I.....don't know... I-i don't know if I can right now."

My head starts to hurt. There's so much going on in my mind right now. I can't think.

"I need time to process this."
I add.

"Will you stay with me at least?" He turns and looks at me. His eyes are full of sadness and a tiny bit of hope. I can't say no to those eyes.

I nod my head and smile softly at him.
He gives me a small smile back.

"I'm going to try my best Nari-ah."

"With what?" I ask.

"Making you fall in love with me."

I blush at his sudden words.

Sad Jongin became playful Jongin in an instant.

"Let's go inside yeah? You hungry?" He asks.

"Yeah, its been a while since I've eaten. I made spaghetti for Chanyeol and I never got the chance to eat some." I say casually, about to open the door.

"What?!" Jongin yells.

I jump in my seat. I look at him with wide eyes, scared, until I actually realized he was pouting his lips.

"You made food for him?" He says, pouting his lips a bit more.
He looks so cute, like a little puppy.

"You never made me food...." He says in a soft voice.

"You want me to make you something right now?" I ask.

His eyes lighten up and nods his head.

I chuckle. "Ok let's go." I reach for the handle and he stops me. He gets out and rushes over to my door and opens it for me.

It's so weird seeing him like this. I can't deny that I like it though. I hop out and we both head inside.

Really short update. I just want to say thank you guys so much for liking my story and I'm super sorry for realllllllyyy slow updates. I've been having writers block and I don't know where i'm going with this story. I'm trying my best lol. You guys are so amazing and i will never give up on this story. I will finish it till the end. I'm sure there's going to be many, many, many chapters coming so the story won't end soon. Also plleeeeaaasseee stop telling me to update or to update faster, i know you guys wait a long time but please be patient! Love you guys, thanks for the support. -natellabuns 💕
