Chapter. 29

It Begins.

     A couple days have passed since Jongin has confessed his feelings towards me. Everything was fine. We didn't fight, it wasn't awkward and we definitely did not have sex. We went out to eat a lot and had a couple of movie nights. Hes been really nice to me and I got to know him a bit more. He made up with Sehun so things are good between them, I still haven't talked to him. He's also been getting more busy with his work. They're planning a concert tour so there's been a couple of days that i've been by myself.

I sit straight up as I see Jongin walk into the kitchen and grab his keys.

"When will you get home?" I ask.

He smiles as he walks over towards me and grabs an apple.
"I think i'll be back home really late again so don't wait up for me."
He starts to back out of the kitchen.
I look down at my bowl of cereal. I fidget with my spoon and pout my lips slightly. Jongin notices my facial expression and stops in his tracks. Another lonely night for me it seems...

"Do you want to come?"

I look up at him and he gives me a sweet smile. I smile back at him and brush my hair behind my ear.
"Can I?" I ask.
He nods his head. I get up excitedly and run towards my room to change my clothes.

Soon after, I head downstairs and Jongin is just on his phone.
"Ok! Let's go!" I wrap my arm around his and we walk out to the car.

We arrive at the S.M Ent. building. It's been a while since i've been here. I start to have a flashback in head of me and Jongin in the dance studio and I can feel my cheeks start to burn. Jongin seemed to know what I was thinking as he started smirking at me.
We walk into the dance studio and there are all the EXO members stretching, on their phones, and talking to each other.

"Oh! Kai's here!" D.O says as he walks towards us. The rest of the members notice us and my eyes soon locked with Sehuns...

I haven't talked to him for a while. I don't even know what to say to him, but I do feel a bit happier seeing him. He stares at me with strong eyes and the first thing I do is smile.
He looks a bit confused but eventually smiles back at me.
I said hi to the rest of the members and Jongin told me to sit down by the door. He joins Chanyeol and Suho, who were stretching. I just sat there and observed all of them.  12 really handsome men right in front of me, a girls dream I guess?

As I was thinking to myself, Sehun came and sat by me. I look at him and give a slight bow. He doesn't look at me and we sit in silence for a couple of seconds. I'm not worried about Jongin seeing us as he told me himself that I'm "free" now, whatever that means.
Sehun finally speaks up,
"Hey, I just wanted to say i'm sorry."

"It's ok.. it's forgotten." I reply.

I just want to start all over with both of them and to me, whatever is in the past, stays in the past.
"I hope we can be friends again." He looks over at me.

"We are." I smile.

Practice went on for hours, I even fell asleep a couple of times. It's amazing how long these guys can practice for.  I felt my stomach growl. Ugh I'm hungry....
I call over Jongin and he does a light jog over to me.
"Hey gorgeous." He says.

"Hey... I'm really hungry.. are you guys going to take like a lunch break or something?" I say quietly.

"Oh yeah, we're actually stopping early."

My eyes light up at the good news. I'm starving.

"Where do you wanna go eat?" He asks.
I was about to reply but got cut off by Chanyeol.
"You guys going to go eat?" he tilts his head sideways.
Jongin nods and Chanyeol asks if he can come.
"Yeah of course!" Jongin says.

The rest of the members have already started to leave and I can see Chanyeol scan around the room as if he's looking for someone.

"Ah! Sehun-ah! Wanna come eat with Kai and Nari?" He says in his deep voice.

Sehun looks towards us with an uncertain look.

"Come eat with us."

I turn my head towards Jongin with wide eyes, surprised that he just said that.

Sehun slowly walks towards us as he nods his head and we head out to go eat.

We arrived at a sushi restaurant and sat down.
The waitress brought us water and took our order. We all ordered rolls some tempura.
Chanyeol and Jongin were in their own conversation as Sehun and I just sat across from each other.
We both gave each other short glances.

I think to myself.
Do you like him Nari?
Yes.
Still? Really?
Yes...

I'm literally having a conversation with myself in my head. Am I going crazy?!

"Alllllright... here's your food!" The waitress places our food in front of us and my mouth waters as I smell it. So hungryyyyy.

Jongin hands me chopsticks and we all start to dig in.

"Oh shoot, I forgot!" Chanyeol says out of nowhere. We all look at him with puzzled looks.
"I have to be somewhere." he says as he starts to shovel food down his throat. My eyes get wide as I see him devour two rolls in a minute.
He bows at us quickly and heads out.
We all just sit there, processing what the fuck just happened.

Jongin just shrugs and picks up a piece of the roll. He taps me on the shoulder and I turn towards him. "Hm?" I look at the food and look back at him.

He opens his mouth, "Ahh." he says.
My eyes go wide and I slowly open my mouth. He puts the piece of the roll into my mouth and smiles at me.
He just fed me food.... right in front of Sehun.
I chew and look over at Sehun, who doesn't seem to be paying attention. I sigh of relief.
Thank god he wasn't looking.
I swallow and smile back to Jongin.
"Thanks." I chuckle.

"Here."
I look forward again and there's a piece of tempura right in my face.
Sehun was trying to feed me too....

Oh no... what's going on.

-
