The distance between them was few, but it felt as though it was many. They looked at each other from thier seats in the gym and felt their faces go red. Two exact opposites: Austin and Ally. Ally and Austin. She ducked as she saw him wave at her. He looked down at his feet, embarassed.

"Ally?" Trish looked from her hidding friend to the blushing blond at the other end of the gym. She glanced over at the boy's friend and felt like Ally. Scared and shy. She had no idea why, it was so uncharacteristic of her. Trish was bold, not afraid of a simple, redhead-ed boy.

Austin looked out to Ally and felt a wieght lifted off him. Ally; such a beautiful, sweet name. He mentally slapped himself for that. (Austin: Why are saying that? I sound like a girl!!! Me: Shut up and enjoy the story, Austin!) He built up enough courage to wave and watched in disappointment as she ducked behind her Latin friend.

Dez looked up at the ceiling. So big and tall like his lanky self. He closed his eyes and imagined himself flying through the crowds. In his daydream, he saw a beautiful Hispanic girl looking at him admiringly and he smiled to himself. Trish. His eyes widened, and to his surprise, he wasn't dreaming. She was looking right at him with wide eyes and he smiled at her. She ducked down like her friend.

"I'm a wizard!!!" Dez shouted, jumping up on his seat. Austin groaned and pulled his friend down beside him. Ally looked quickly at Austin and sighed. Such perfection.

(Ally: What?! Me: Ally, it's a story. Deal with it.)
