A pair of footfalls fell behind Ally's spot on the concrete bench. Pickles screeched at the sound.

"Austin, if it's you. I've already told you. Leave me alo-," she turned to see a different face. A pair of brown eyes met hers bashfully.

Dallas looked down at his feet, embarassed. He rung his hands, "Sorry. It...it's just...Trish, she told me...and I..." He sighed heavily. Then, nodded to the spot next to her. Ally smoothed her dress against her legs, making room. "Thanks."

Ally looked back out at the water. A moment ago, it seemed so nice. Something so peaceful. Now, the silence was about to drive her insane. Finally, Dallas took the hint to speak his intentions.

"Ok, listen. Ally, I need to tell y-you something." he took her hands in his. She opened her mouth to speak, but he placed a finger over her lips. "Please, before I go insane. Well, more insane." He looked down at their hands, and quickly let hers go, blushing madly.

He shook his head, looking back to the water. "Sorry, I'm all over the place right now."

"I understand." Ally murmured, "Same here."

"Hey, Ally?"

"Yeah?"

Dallas bit his lip in hesitation, finally his tounge relented. "I really like you."

Ally looked up, slightly shocked. "Y-you do? Dallas..."

Behind them, Austin had finally found Ally's hiding place. If she didn't want him anymore, at least he could explain everything to her better. Yet, as he pushed his way through the bushes, the sight in front of him broke his heart even further.

There, in the glow of the moonlight, was Ally Dawson.

Kissing Dallas.
