She turned around with pure terror, and in front of her stood a smiling Austin with tears threatening to fall from his eyes. "Alls, that was beautiful!" he picked her small frame off the piano bench, spinning her around. Placing her on the floor, he kissed her forehead protectively. She blushed and looked at her feet.
"Austin, you weren't supposed to hear that..." she looked into his hazel eyes that were smiling down at her. She blinked and the spark was gone. "Wait, was that for Dallas...." Austin looked at his feet. Austin felt like hugging him and telling her she loved him, but that would just ruin everything. Ruin. Everything.
She tilted his head up so he'd look at her. She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Austin, it wasn't for Dallas. It was an Ally song." Ally songs were Ally's special songs that Austin was forbidden to use. They were laced with tears and long-lost love. Ally's heart and soul put to a calming melody. Austin's head spun as she retracted her lips from his reddening cheek.
"I have something to show you, Ally." Austin said suddenly, startling both of them. He raced to the piano and pulled out a napkin from his pocket. Smudged writing covered every inch of the small paper, but her placed his hands on the keys. Ally sat beside him, wonder filling her eyes. He laughed to himself and picked up tempo.
"She's the girl no one ever knows. But still, she's something to me. I've looked everywhere; been through everything. Trying so hard to get her to notice me. Just look my way. I wanna see your smile. Just stay with me, just for a while. A girl with a talent. No one could ever mask her. She had the task before her." he nudged Ally and she looked to the napkin. She looked at him, eyebrow arched and he nodded for her to try it for him.
"He had everything, but tried so hard to find his missing piece. Something broken off a bit from his heart. Just running out of time. I wanted him to look my way, but his head was out in space. He need to come back down. My life is his mission; he wants to be a part....." she paused, "Austin, what does that say."
He turned and cupped the side of her face. "It says, and I quote, 'Ally, would you let me in?'" Tears filled her eyes, and he pulled her close. "Would you let me be the one?"
(Dez: *rips duct tape of his mouth* KISS ALREADY!!!! Me: How the heck did you get the tape off?!)
Unfortunately again, the moment was ruined by Dez. "Kiss her stupid!!!!" Dez screamed from the doorway. Yet again, much to their mutually dismay, the two picked up their belongings and hurried out of the room.
