"Tikki, transformé-moi!" Tikki was absorbed into the earrings as the red and the black spots covered Marinette's normal clothes and her purse vanished. In its place, her yoyo was wrapped around her waist.

She threw out her yoyo and swung back into the school courtyard. "Where's the Aku-?" Everyone she saw was locked in coffin-worthy positions. It was silent. It was still. It was...a graveyard.

"Hello? Is anyone in here?" Her yoyo spun quickly in front of her, shielding her from the unknown.

"M'lady," a shaking voice said above her, "you should probably come see this..."

Ladybug flew up to the roof next to her partner. The view was normally amazing this high in Paris, beautiful, magnificent, but this... This was terrifying.

There was no moving person in sight. No vehicles, no dogs barking, birds singing. Everything was completely still, even to the lack of humming electricity. Every body was a corpse of the people they used to be.

"I-I-" Ladybug stammered.

"I didn't see anyone else moving on my way here either, my lady. There was only rolling cameras at Kids+, no one was moving there either. I would go so far as to say we are the only ones-"

"Alive. They're all dead."

"That's a little harsher than I would have said, but, I guess you're right."

A screen in Mme Bustier's class flicked on and the heroes swung in to investigate.

"-Noir," the screen rumbled in the sound, the bass shaking the school's foundation. "You're alone! There is no one who can help you! Give me your Miraculouses at the Eiffiel Tower! Surrender them to me, or you can join the others!"

The screen turned black.

"Well...that was short."

Ladybug stepped around the corpse of Mme Bustier laying sprawled out across the floor. "Come on, kitty." She sighed. "We have some serious work to do."
