Every day, a stranger peacefully passes that may have some relation to you or your future and you’d never know. You can walk right past somebody who could mean the world to you in a few months’ time. In all honestly, coincidences happen all the time, it’s just that we don’t know they did. Park Jimin and Min Yoongi were a prime example of this. They literally circled each other before they took notice of the other’s presence due to a small incident.
Of course, ‘that’ incident being a very hilarious encounter at an ice cream shop that may or may not have involved various harsh words thrown at each other and a causal insult towards straight people. Neither of them knew at the time how much each other would mean to them in the future nor their fate that awaited. It is a funny thing, the world and how it works. One day you’re the happiest you can be and the next you’re down in the dumps. One second you are single and the next, you’re not. That’s how it is.
Knowing how to navigate through life is not something anyone has the privilege of. No one knows what adventures await. There was once a physics station Yoongi had listened to due to his deceased father’s interests that described the state of mind and will. Well, ten seconds before you have an urge, your brain shows it. Any Information you gather today will predetermine your actions. That’s just the truth.
That’s why first impressions are crucial. Humans collect all the knowledge they can muster based on a first look, enough to go ahead and have a mindset about the other. Jimin, to him, was this marvelous person with these adorable looks and a fiery personality. What he didn’t know was just how easy he would submit to them. That’s where he became confused with his own brain functions. It doesn’t take him ten seconds to acknowledge a feeling when Park Jimin’s involved. It only takes one.
