DESCRIPTION;
Katherine and Thomas were raised as spies, they live as spies.
It's the only life they know, so, when they get assigned to discover the identity of Spider-Man, they take it as just another assignment.
They've already been told that he's still a student, it was easy for anyone to determine the school he goes to.
Kat takes on the role of a history teacher and poses Thomas as a student. When seeing attendance records, it's not hard to narrow down a prime suspect. His attendence got spotty right around Spider-Man's first appearance. Peter Parker is their only suspect.
Thomas easily works his way into Peter's trust by first becoming friends with Ned. Kat earns Aunt May's trust by simply showing concern for Peter's education.
It all works from there, a systematic progression that they both saw coming. The prediction was easy. Dominos falling to them one by one.
By the time they get the proof that Peter is Spider-Man, their assignment has expanded. They can take down what's left of the Avengers.
They can bring about the fall of an already cracking empire.
ADDITIONAL INFO;
✖ Kat uses her in with Aunt May to get her to call Tony to ask to loosen up on the "Stark Internship" Peter had gotten. She uses that opening to eventually get close to Tony and learn how to hit him where it hurts.
✖ Kat and Thomas are brother and sister, both extremely good at what they do. Extremely sneaky, even with each other.
✖ I don't think Kat would get any better but if you want I think there's plenty of chance for a redemption arc for Thomas. He's still young, not completely devoted. A last second betrayal? I can see that happening but the alternative also is good. Thomas can stay a "villain" and help complete the assignment.
✖ Even though they aren't always entirely honest with each other, Kat and Thomas are family and they do care about each other.
✖ Don't be afraid to let the villains win this one. I'm a sucker for a sad ending. Destroy what's left of my heart after Infinity War please.
