DESCRIPTION;
Adeline Edwards was raised in HYDRA, trained by the Winter Soldier himself after being forced to watch him kill her parents. HYDRA training was brutal but it was the only life she knew besides her four years out in the real world. She was sent on her first kill mission at just ten years old. Unsurprisingly, the young girl didn't have it in her to pull the trigger when the time came. HYDRA made certain she was punished for that failure and she never failed again after that.
Following the Bucky Barnes breaking free of the Winter Soldier programming and escaping, Adeline was sent to the Sokovian base. All too soon, her world took a sharp turn when the Avengers raid the base and, much to her shock, a sympathetic Natasha Romanoff offers her an out.
Adeline takes that out and it puts her on the path to trading in a life of HYDRA torture to life as a hero. Mix in some new and confusion feelings for a certain witch and Adeline's life is turned upside down completely.
ADDITIONAL INFO;
✖ Adeline has nightmares when she first gets out of HYDRA but tries to hide it. Wanda will eventually find out when she's still training with her powers and accidentally let's her mind drift and sees Adeline's fears and nightmares.
✖ Natasha will probably take a big role in helping Adeline adjust to life outside of HYDRA.
✖ Steve will be close with Adeline, especially after he finds out about her past with the Winter Soldier. To help her fear the Winter Soldier less, he'll tell her about Bucky and make sure she knows that the Winter Soldier is gone (HYDRA hadn't told her when Bucky escaped).
✖ Build Adeline's relationships with the team up, don't make it too sudden. After being raised in nothing but pain and torture, she's bound to have some trust issues. Try to show her struggle with making her own choices now that she finally is able to.
✖ In Civil War, at first she tries to avoid the issue because she's afraid of seeing the people she cares about go against each other. When Bucky gets involved, she ends up on Team Cap because after learning Bucky's story she feels a sort of connection to him and feels like he might understand her a little better than the others can. Slightly jealous but also concerned Wanda? Yes please.
✖ Bucky and Adeline should have an almost sibling like relationship that develops. Protective older brother Bucky who also teases Adeline about her relationship with Wanda but actually loves the relationship because he sees how happy and in love Adeline and Wanda both are together.
✖ Wanda being a little protective but not overstepping to the point where it's unhealthy. She trusts Adeline.
✖ Cute relationship please (power couple please i already ship this) but also, because of both of their backgrounds, some angst and emotional scenes probably.
