" What are you doing after school today?" Lilly asks me once the final bell rings.
" Uh just going home why?" I say in a panicked tone.
Lilly raised her eyebrow," Are you okay?"
When we reached our lockers, I got my bag and stuffed my books in it," Uh yeah. Just a little sick." I said with a fake cough.
I put my bag over my shoulder then made my way twords the gym.
" Are you sure your ok?" she asks again.
" Yes, Im fine now can i just go?"
She sighs then signals me to go. I then speed walk to the gym, when I hit something hard.
" Ow" I say as I fall twords the ground and land on my bum.
" Are you okay?" I hear.
I look up at who i bumped into and it was Charlie Rogers, the schools top basketball champion. Also my 6th grade crush. Ever since he helpped me when I got hurt i've liked him.
I brushed my brown curls out of my face," Yeah."
He holds his hand. " Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where i was going." he apologizes.
" Oh no, i'm sorry. I was rushing." I say and stand up. He's tall and has a slender arms.
He smiles," Your Payton right?"
I smile too," Yeah"
" Well It's nice to meet you Payton." he says in a polite tone.
" You too." I say.
" Charlie!" I hear then see Macy walking over here. Her light brown curls bouncing up and down as she walked.
When she reaches us she throws her arms over Charlie and kisses him.
I glare at her but then my expression softens when Charie pushes her away.
" Hey to you too!" he says.
She looks at me then says," Who's she?"
" Oh Macy, this is Payton. Payton this is Macy."
I look at her with a polite smile," Hi "
" Can we go?" she sneers.
" Yeah - Sure." he hesitates. Then she drags him twords the front school doors.
" Bye Payton!" he says. I smile." Bye!"

I rushes down the school corridors into the gymnasium.
I see Justin leaning against the white concrete walls, while listening to his ipod.
" Hi, Sorry Im late." I say as i drop my bag on the gym floor.
" It's okay" he says while taking the ear plugs out of his ears.
" Ready to start?" he asks.
" Yeah." I say with a smile.
