Reyna looked out over the valley as the setting sun reflected beautifully off of the buildings. Sitting here with Thalia, a million thoughts were going through her mind. She thought of how much Thalia intrigued her, mostly. She was mostly intriguing because she caught her attention as soon as she had walked into her class that morning. The thing is though, is that most people didn't catch her attention. She had seen a lot in her short life, so not much caught her focus. But Thalia had. That's probably why she was so irritated when Thalia didn't acknowledge her this morning. She wanted  her to notice her. To be acknowledged. She felt something with Thalia that she never had ever really had with anyone else, and it confused her. But she knew she liked it.  Reyna stole glances at Thalia every once and a while, but not enough to look suspicious. If you just took a glance at Thalia, you would probably just see a punk girl that you would probably want to maybe avoid if you wanted to keep your life. But when Reyna looked closer, she saw just how beautiful that Thalia really was. Her sharp, blue eyes, her perfectly placed freckles, her raven black hair, and a whole lot more. But her eyes...they were so distracting. "Reyna? Reyna???" Thalia waved her hand in front of her face. She had zoned out. She blinked and then realized her situation, turning a dark shade of red. "I-I'm sorry, what was that?" She asked. Thalia chuckled and shook her head. "I said it's getting late. Don't you need to get home?" She asked in kind of a soft tone. It sounded almost...caring. Scratch that. It was definitely  caring. She looked at her watch. It was  getting late...but she really didn't want to leave. "No, not really. My foster parents aren't very persistent with the whole 'curfew' thing." She chuckled. Thalia smiled. Boy did she smile. Reyna blinked again. She couldn't do that zoning out again. "Well I don't exactly have one either so." She chuckled. "How...how long were you planning on staying?" She asked. There was almost a tired eagerness to her tone, as if she wanted to put her walls down, and was tired of keeping them up. Thalia seemed to be looking at Reyna in a way that she really, really, didn't understand. It kind of scared her, but at the same time, she knew it had to be good. "I'm not really sure...I mean I can go whenever you need me to." She said softly. Thalia nodded a bit. "I don't need you to." She mumbled, glancing up at Reyna every other second in kind of a nervous manner. Reyna shifted her gaze from the valley in front of her, to the beautiful girl next to her. "O-okay." She nodded. Now that she was facing Thalia, she had a better excuse to look at her. Her eyes scanned her entire face, looking at the hard blue of her eyes, to the soft pools of her pupils, to the point of her brow, to the edge of her jaw, to the light dusting of freckles, and her soft looking lips. Thalia looked up at Reyna. "What?" She asked softly. "N-Nothing." She said almost breathlessly. She cleared her throat. "I...I should be going." She said quietly. Thalia looked at her lap and nodded. "Alright." She said and stood, offering the other a hand. Reyna took her hand and stood up to come face to face with Thalia. She lingered there for a moment, their faces close. Her eyes quickly scanned her face and landed on Thalia's soft looking lips. She wondered if they actually were. She wanted to find out. She blinked once more, and shook herself out of her daze. She cleared her throat and stepped away, regretfully letting go of Thalia's hand. "I-I'll see you tomorrow." She said in almost a whisper, as if her voice had been lost in the small space between their faces that was there only moments before. Thalia nodded. "See you tomorrow." She said in an almost sad tone. She walked into her tent and turned off the lights. Reyna paused for a moment, looking back at her tent. Then she turned and made her way back down the hill.
