Chapter 10: School...again {Reyna's POV}

Yeah so it's certainly been a lot longer than 24 hours...oops haha. I've had a lot going on in my life (large oof) and I have been dealing with things a liiiiitle more important than Wattpad. I haven't written in a while and I kinda forgot my own story line lol so I'm sorry if this is literal crap haha. It's a short chapter, but I'm hoping to further the story in the next few chapters. Enjoy whatever the heck this is :)

       As Thalia and Reyna ate in silence, a million things went through Reyna's mind. She mostly thought about the night before. She thought about how the distance between them was almost non-existent, how their eyes connected for what felt like minutes, but was actually mere seconds, and how they almost...almost...oh she couldn't think about that. She couldn't think about the fact that nothing happened last night, because she wanted something to happen last night. 

      Reyna finished her food and looked at her watch. School would be starting in an hour, and they still had to walk to school. "Hey, we should probably head to school." She said, looking over at Thalia. Thalia looked at her and nodded. "You're probably right." She responded. "Let me clean up and we can head out." Reyna nodded. She started to help Thalia clean up when her hand was promptly swatted away. "Hey woah," Thalia started. "You made breakfast, I got this one.  Just relax." She chuckled softly. Reyna sighed and nodded. "Alright, whatever you say."

      Thalia finished cleaning up and they started walking to school. As they walked in unison, their hands brushed up against each other, which sent a tingle through her body. It made her smile on the inside. And apparently on the outside. Thalia noticed her smile. "What are you smiling about?" She asked. Reyna looked at her and a slight blush crossed her cheeks. "Oh nothing...just thought about something funny." She lied. Thalia shrugged and they continued to walk. 

      After walking a bit, they made it to school and walked to their class. They took their seats, the class started, and they began yet another day of school.
