"Mother, so my name...." Aurora was unclear as, what to understand from the recent revelation I made.

"I dint name you after me, it was a name my mother thought, would be perfect for someone as me. She was wrong, the name fits you better, and if your grand mother knew you she would agree to it." I assured.

--------------------------------------

The name never really reveals how the person is on the inside neither does a name given to a certain person pave the way for his or her future or destiny. But that does not stop us from judging a person or their character by their name.

But I wish it were true, or at least my father believed it to be so. So he would believe me to be a dawn of his new and better life, and look at me like he looked at his boy.

But he dint, he never did. It was the reverse of it, he had abandoned all hope looking at me.

"I understand the reason of your sadness my friend. But you still could have another child, and it could turn out be a boy. And for the girl that is already born you could let her be in the house, need not pay attention to it. And who knows she might grow to be beautiful, and then you can marry her off in a family with better fortune than yours. Her status and might help you as well." my father's rage had led him to his friend to bury his grief in alcohol.

"That girl born in color, she would grow up to be beautiful. Who might consider her to be so, let alone a boy with good fortune. And having another child, what if that turned out to be a girl as well. And what happens when I cannot marry her off, no one accepts her. And in turn I would have to pay from my hard earned fortune to get rid off her." father had already created the worst nightmare there was.

"You are too hard on yourself. Your life is not cursed this bad."

"I do not know of the good or bad that lies ahead. At the very moment I cannot even tolerate that infant. The mere look of her enrages me."

"Well there is a way...." his friend was getting suspicious and seeing the urgency and determination in father's eyes he continued..."If you believe she is no good and will bring no good to you, why don't you just.." the eyes said what his lips were ashamed to say it out loud.

"If everyone knew...."

"Yes, yes, they would make talks if they even got a hint. Even though they might just see the reason, and would do the same in their case, but for someone else they would be ready to start mouthing."

"So then how...should I... you know do it.."

"Early in the morning, go to the high cliff, the ocean would also be in full swing to take her away. And it has only been hours, not all know about the infant's birth. Tell everyone off by saying the child was born dead."

"It is a good plan you have given my friend. But make sure it only remains amidst us both."

I never knew I held so much power in me, that even as a mere infant I threatened my father so much, that he had to consider to kill me off.
