Wedding Rehearsal

"With this hand, I will lift your spirits- no no that's not right let me try again" Hiro stuttered in front of the Preacher during the wedding rehearsal his bride to be Riley appearing to be very impatient. Hiro Hamada was to be wed to Riley Anderson due to his Aunt's money shortage when Tadashi Hiro's older brother died in a fire. Riley's family only agreed due to their dislike of her original boyfriend's soft tendencies. Sometime after their break up the boy was missing and never seen again. Hiro began trying to read the smudged pen on his arm. Riley soon walked out of the room her eyebrows down in pure anger. Both her parents looking very displeased.

"With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your time. With this candle..." Just as Hiro finishes his line he drops the candle on Riley's mother's dress, luckily Riley's father put it out very quickly. Hiro was so panicked he dropped the ring and had to chase after it, his heart beating faster than he believed it could. He finally found the ring it had buried itself between a book. Hiro finally had the ring once more, but his bride to be and her parents where gone. He stared at his aunt his head hanging low.

The preacher soon shouted and got in Hiro's face "If you can not say your vows right you shouldn't even be getting married! Rehearsal demised!!!". Hiro walked out with his head hanging low and his Aunt Cass looking angry. Hiro hopped in the car waiting for a lecture and got one. "HIRO HAMADA WHAT WHERE YOU DOING IN THERE?!" shouted Aunt Cass at Hiro as soon as her door was closed, Hiro turned on his cordless headset turning on his Spotify playlist allowing the first song to play. "Hiro you told me you practiced those vows all night!..." Aunt Cass went on and on as she drove home.

×Hiro's POV×

I walked into the house my Aunt still yelling from the car. I didn't hear her through my favorite playlist was on Spotify playing in my ears. She soon drove away to visit my nephew and Sister-in-law who happens to be Honey Lemon, before Tadashi died he married Honey Lemon and had Yushi. I'm pretty sure Aunt Cass hates me since she spoils Yushi every time we see him and that is every Sunday. A lot has changed since Tadashi's death I have become more distant from social activities. Even though I love my friends I still have this hole in my chest needed to be filled, but every year on my birthday I feel like Tadashi's actually with me.

I began Doing my chores and singing Full Disclosure from Steven Universe (since it was the song playing on Spotify)

I began mopping the kitchen then Vacuuming the living room as I hummed the short instrumental breaks. This wasn't the original I was singing it was my own version. Being a part of Big Hero 6 is great since I get to protect San fransokyo, but when I have a spouse the song is totally something I would worry about. It's weird I know, but it is a good thing to have. I finally finish up those two and head upstairs to clean my room. I get up there just in time to the next part of the song begins to play as my humming turns into a singing

Once my room is finally finished I jump on my bed to read some manga. As the next song begins to play I pull out one and begin reading. It doesn't take me long to finish it till I'm reading the next one. Once I catch up on that series I turn on a playlist on my phone making sure my headset is out so I can take a nap and listen to it.

I woke about 3 hours later to a warm plate of food on my nightstand and a note from Aunt Cass "Sorry about yelling here is dinner and don't walk too far from the house on your nightly walk". I sat up and ate quickly before throwing on my Indigo sweater an' heading out the door. Also before leaving, I made sure to check and see if Moji was sleeping with Aunt Cass. I sure hope Baymax was in his charging port or else I won't hear the end of it.

I walked to the old tree in the center of the woods it was my only private spot. I quickly began to recite my vows still messing up on parts. I kept doing this till I broke off a branch. I put a hand on my face, then I started to impersonate Riley and her parents with the tree branches. I heard a small laugh and continued to do impressions for it. I finally gained the courage to do my vows "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.". I placed the ring of marigold petals I made on the tree branch sticking out most pretending it was Riley's finger. And I swear I saw the tree open up and the tree branch turn into a skeleton hand and pulls me in.
