Resting upon the gilded clouds sat the king of all that burned bright.
Each day the dazzling king waited to catch a glimpse of his fair mistress.
Awestruck, he would descend his throne,
Giving up his reign over the boundless sky.
All for the sake of his alluring mistress whom he would
Never be with.
Kingdom of darkness, lit only by its queen. She sprinkled the sky and made it
Rich with a thousand lights.
Unaware of her ghostly charm,
Every morning she would surrender her place in the sky,
Giving who she shared her throne with not even a glance.
Ethereal in her every motion, she
Ruled with a beauty so cold that she never felt his heated gaze.
