Choreographed smiles and meditated laughs She hides behind a curtain until the final act
Imitated euphoria captured with photographs
Using cosmetics to seal all of her cracks
Teeth white as pearls
Voice as sweet as candy
She's the perfect girl
Downing bottles of brandy
Flaunting her best apparel with looks that can kill
All heads turn in a double, triple take
Another photo shoot, another couple pills
No one even knows it's all really fake
Choreographed smiles and meditated laughs
She hides behind a curtain until the final act
Keeping a steady hand to sign autographs
Her fate was decided when she signed the contract
Hair soft as wool
Eyes as clear as oceans
The world takes her for a fool
Drowning in repressed emotions
From her true self she absconds
Her whole is life built around lies
No one can see beyond
Her perfect disguise
