Time tells of the most regarded of beasts,
Rulers of the sky, masters of mankind.
In their glory, knights hold a lavish feast.
No other creature is quite as refined.
Above our heads in his kingdom he rules.
Zest in his eyes and fire in his gut.
He sits upon his throne of gold and jewels.
Meek, this mystical being is anything but.
Is there ever a beast oh as so noble?
Their legend will live for stories to come.
Oh serpent lord, to you I ennoble.
For them play a song and bring out your drum.
Rejoice in their glory and raise your flagon!
Long live the ancient beast! Long live the dragon!
