Brittany stared at her bloody arms before slowly turning to where Nick's body was hanging. Her eyes were glued on the gory scene. She couldn't move, scream or cry. The shock made her feel numb to the entire situation, including the fact that her boyfriend was still hanging upside down all disemboweled.
"Nick..." She whispered before frantically wiping the blood off her body. It felt like Nick's body exploded inside that room.
The cold room Brittany was standing in, had blood stains all over. Some were fresh from Nick and others were old. Probably older than the teenage girl. His guts were on the floor right below his hanging body. He died a violent body and Brittany didn't even get a good look at what killed her boyfriend.
Brittany walked outside the room slowly, grabbing the wall for support. Images of Nick's death started playing through her mind and she felt cold. She couldn't take it any longer so she knelt and purged right there. She felt sick and powerless. Everyone expected her to be ditzy and shallow all the time, but she truly loved Nick and it pained her to watch him die without reacting. It is safe to say that Brittany felt like a part of her died along with her boyfriend.

Dylan and Riley were still inside the projection room looking for something that could help them leave the asylum as soon as possible. "Watching that film made me realize that maybe this place is truly haunted." The girl confessed.
"You think?" The boy sarcastically replied. "The thing that bothered me the most was the bloody wall." He frantically searched inside one of the boxes until he found something. "Clarissa..." He read the name off another roll.
Riley scooted closer to Dylan and furrowed her perfectly plucked brows. "Who's Clarissa?" She asked.
The black haired boy smirked. "Let's find out!" He plugged the projector back in and inserted the roll inside of it. "Ready?"
The girl nodded and Dylan let the film roll. Images of a beautiful woman started playing. She was on a field with a crown of flowers on her head. A little girl came running towards the woman with a sunflower on her hand.
"That's..." Riley gasped in surprise.
Dylan leaned forwards with furrowed eyebrows. "The little girl from the snuff film." He added.
The woman smiled at the girl and held her by the waist. "Say hello to daddy." Clarissa asked the girl.
"Hello, daddy!" The cute little girl waved at the man behind the camera. She hugged Clarissa. "I love you, mommy!" Her eyes soon traveled to the camera and her face turned demonic. "You are all gonna die!" She shouted and the projector started burning, frightening the two teens.
Riley held onto Dylan tight and watched the film slowly melt. "Let's get the fuck out of here!"
Dylan nodded but grabbed a small box that was inside the card box Riley found. "Let's!" He agreed and the two friends left the haunted room.

Quentin was leading the girls across the halls when they heard a noise. "What was that?" Faith asked, scared out of her mind after what happened to her boyfriend.
He shushed both girls and walked along the halls slowly with his back to the wall. The girls followed suit while trying to keep quiet so they could surprise the assailant. The dark haired boy jumped inside the other hall. "Whatever you want, don't hurt the girls!" He stated.
On the floor was Brittany still in shock from her previous encounter with the thing that killed her boyfriend. "Nick..." She looked at the three teens standing in front of her before jumping into Quentin's arms. "He's dead!" She cried.
"Who's dead?" Quentin asked while trying to comfort the shaking girl.
Cassie rolled her eyes. "Duh... Didn't you hear?" She placed a hand on her hip. "Nick is dead. Brit said it!"
Faith forcefully grabbed the blonde's arm. "How can you be so emotionless about this?" The brunette glared at her classmate. "Your best friend just lost her boyfriend and you're acting like it's nothing. What's wrong with you?" Cassie shrugged and Faith sighed.
Quentin cupped Brittany's face and looked into her eyes. "Did you see who killed Nick?"
Brittany shook her head and more tears streamed down her face. "It was all very fast! We were making out and then, out of the blue, he was hanging from the ceiling and blood started pouring on me and his guts were on the floor... It was brutal and I'm not dealing with it. I feel like those witnesses we see on those cop shows that can't fucking help the police!" She cried into Q's chest.
The brunette stepped closer to Quentin and Brittany and placed her hand on the blonde's back. "We're gonna find a way out of here. I promise!" The blonde nodded and the two girls shared an understanding look.
Suddenly, Dylan and Riley bumped into the group and sighed in relief. "Damn, our phones aren't working!" The girl commented. "I tried calling you like a million times but I have no reception inside this hell hole." She looked at Faith and noticed her best friend had a weird expression. "Why are you looking at me like someone died?"
"Nick died!" Cassie blurted out. "Brittany is devastated and Faith seems to think I have no feelings."
Brittany wiped her tears and stood close to her best friend. "Don't take it personally. Cass has Asperger and it's hard for her to express her feelings like we do."
The flashlights the teens had started flickering and Riley noticed a silhouette moving around. "Hey guys!" She warned them. "I think we should move!"
They started walking in the opposite direction but a female figure stopped them. A brunette with piercing green eyes stood in front of the teens with a soft expression plastered on her face. "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I wish I could help but you are all going to die tonight." She disappeared, leaving the group more confused than they already were.
