edd was sitting on the couch between his two friends as they watched a movie, matt and tom each had they're own bowls of popcorn and edd would frequently steal from both of them, mostly matt though, as his popcorn had more butter.
the storm outside was loud, the rain pelting the windows. edd shifted, eyes glued to the screen, but an odd worry had worked it's way into his mind, and he couldn't focus.
something felt very wrong. the worry ate at him like fire on wood.
edd turned to stare out the window, worry still gnawing at him. he needed to go outside.
he sighed, and his friends noticed his change in behavior. "you okay, edd?" tom asked, pausing the movie. "hm? oh- yeah. i'm good, just worried, and i'm not sure why.." "i wonder why" tom announced, glancing back at the tv.
"yeah.. you can keep watching the movie tom, i think i'm just gonna go outside-" "but its raining!" edd turned to look at matt, "i know but i really feel like going outside.."
tom once again turned to face edd. "why dont we all go to that park after it stops raining?" edd shifted, he wanted to go now, but, as matt said, it was raining. "okay..."
