CHAPTER # 13

Agnis's POV:

'ONE WEEK LATER'

It was almost one week I have been here. By now I was really missing my family. I was missing my friends and my school. It was becoming hard for me to live here. They haven't hurt me except the first day when they took my blood but still I want to go back to my friends and school. I was lying on my bed with my pillow on my head. Just then the door swung open and Angry bird came in.

"Hey Little Muffin. You have to come down today and should act like a good obeying girl". He said.

"What? What do you mean?". I asked in confusion.

"Huh. Today my dad is coming from Paris and I am throwing a party tonight just us and his office colleagues". He said while checking up my dressing table.

"But...." I was about to say something but he stormed off my room.

"How rude. why is he so arrogant?" I murmured to myself.

I thought about what could be the reason of this party. After one and a half hour Megan came in to my room.

"Hey. How are you?" She asked.

"Hey. I am fine. By the way today is some kind of party?" I asked stressing on the word 'party'.

"Umm... Yeah. Who told you? I just came here to inform you about that only". She said.

"Aaron. He told me his dad is coming today from Paris and he is throwing a party. We just had a party about 3 to 4 days ago. Then why this one?" I asked in confusion.

"Ahh actually that was a party in which everyone was invited. Aaron's dad is coming and he had just won a plot in the auction that's why Aaron is throwing this one for him and his colleagues. He just want it to be a private small party very casual and simple. Just to surprise and appreciate him" She said quickly.

"Oh. I must say Aaron loves his dad very much". I said shaking my head.

"Ahh... Yeah... Yeah... Of course". She said brokenly.

I think she was lying. But I didn't said anything. I just nodded.

"Okay. But why am I invited? If his dad will ask him who am I then what will he answer? Will he going to tell his dad that he kidnapped me?" I asked.

"His dad knows already. And he told Aaron on the phone that he wants to meet you. That's why you are invited". She said. 

"Oh okay. I'll be there. But Megan I am very weak in meeting new people. I just get nervous" I said hesitatingly because i wondered she might laugh.

"Oh. Oh my god. You don't worry. Aaron's father is not Hitler. He's a kind and friendly man but he is very formal and punctual". She said with a giggle.

"Hmm... Okay". I said.

She got out of room after seeing her wrist watch. It was 5:30 in the evening. And the party is going to start at 7. I lazily stood up from my bed. I should be quick instead of sluggish but its my nature. When ever I have to go to parties I always become sluggish. But then I realised its not my friend's usual party. Its Angry bird's party and if I will get late he will be angry. And when he is angry I get very scared. So I quickly took shower and got out in a towel. I dried my hair and approached my wardrobe for a suitable clothing. I found some very girly clothes in my wardrobe which I rarely wear and only then when Daphne insist me too. I found a grey skinny jeans and a loose Selena Gomez t-shirt. I wore it and glanced myself in the mirror. I didn't found myself formal but this is who I am. I will not become so formal just for my kidnapper's dad. I wore a wrist watch. Just then the door was knocked. I guessed it might be the servant because no one in this house knocks and come except Mack. They all just storm in specially Angry bird.

"Yes?" I asked the man out on door.

"Ma'am. Aaron sir is calling you downstairs" The man said.

Ma'am? Really? I am kidnapped here or I am a Princess here? I thought in my mind and giggled.

"Yeah I am coming" I said loudly and slightly brushed my hair. I adjusted my t-shirt properly and turned my door knob and started walking downstairs. I was on the stairs when I saw the house was simply decorated with some candles and flowers. But it was looking great. I saw Angry bird. He was wearing a black shirt with black pant. He was looking formal. He was acting to be formal in front of his dad otherwise he is really informal. But anyways he was looking really nice. I saw Mack, Benken, Dalis and Hoyt on one side. And Megan and Fage were on the other. I saw Angry bird was standing in front of a man. That man was wearing a coat suit. He was a clean shave person. I guessed he was Angry bird's dad, Mr.Caden. There were many people too and I guessed they were Mr.Caden's colleagues. I walked over to where Mack was standing. He looked at me and whispered:

"Hey. Say hello to Mr.Caden. He's Aaron's Dad. You know that right?"

"Yeah. Okay" I whispered too.

Just then Angry's bird dad turned to me and Angry bird too.

"Hmm... Hello Miss?" Mr.Caden said.

"Agnis. Hello sir... " I said.

"Hmm... Okay so you are that special girl?" He asked.

"Umm.... Yeah I guess...." I said while looking at Angry bird and breathing heavily.

"You shouldn't guess. You are special. Okay so Agnis did anyone hurt you here? Is there any problem here?" He asked kindly.

"Umm... No. No one hurt me. I am all fine here sir" I said shaking my head.

"Mr.Caden. Call me Mr.Caden. Not sir" He said.

"Mr.Caden". I said slowly.

"So. If you have any problem in this house you should tell me okay?" He asked. I agreed with Megan, he was quite a kind person.

"Yeah okay si.... I mean Mr.Caden". I said with my big smile.

The dinner was arranged in the hall only. We all had dinner and after 2 hours Mr.Caden said:

"So guys. Now we should have our tradition. But in a good and controlling way"

Tradition? I thought in my mind. Just then Megan came and whispered in my ear:

"Its a tradition in which every person here have to drink a glass of beer or vine. It's always held after the dinner".

"What? Drink? Really?" I said with my head in my hands.

KBASAA!!! So it was an another boring party. But in the next chapter something really interesting, amazing and unexpected is gonna happen which will write the future of this book.
