CHAPTER # 38

Aaron's POV:

It was now 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Today we all were late for dinner. We were heading towards the dinning room just then I saw Little Muffin climbing down the stairs. I quickly ran over to her when she was on the third last step and lent my hand for help. She smiled slightly and landed her hand on to mine. I gently grabbed it and made her walk to the dinning hall. I was glad that Dalis was not in the hall right now because if he would be there then he would definitely have helped Agnis just to impress her. We both entered the dinning hall.

I saw everyone there except my dad. I made Little muffin sit on a seat next to Hoyt. I noticed Dalis from the corner of my eye and I could feel his uneasiness. I could feel the flames erupting in his heart.

"Hey where's dad?" I asked.

"Ah. He had his lunch 1 hour before. You know he is really punctual for all his work " Benken said.

"Oh. Okay" I said. We all got seated and started the lunch. I sat just opposite to her. We all were having lunch. I took some pasta and some beans. Normally I don't like having lunch and all but today I just sat. I wanted to eat. With Little Muffin. I was eating quietly just then my toe hit Little Muffin's leg beneath the table. She twitched and looked at me widening her eyes. I moved a little and murmured a 'sorry'. But Dalis sitting beside me heard that 'sorry' and asked:

"Sorry? For what?"

"Umm... Ah. Nothing. Its nothing. You carry on" I said smiling widely. He also smiled slightly and carried on with his lunch.

"Ah. I am done" Little Muffin said leaving off the chair. Megan smiled at her and so did she. She went outside the dinning hall. After 5 minutes we all also proceeded out. I walked towards the stairs.

"Hey Aaron. Where are you going?" Dalis asked on my back.

"Ah... To Ag- I mean to my room. My room" I said hastily.

"Hmm... Okay. By the way I am also coming" Dalis said walking towards me.

"Where? In my room?" I asked confusingly.

"Ah... No. I mean to my room. I need to rest" Dalis said smiling.

"Oh. Okay. Come on" I said smiling back. He and I walked up the stairs.

"Hey Mack. Just please send some vodka bottles in my room" I said turning my back and smirked and winked at Mack.

"Aaron..." Mack said frustratingly and made his eyebrows met in the middle. Like he was reading my face.

"Oh. Come on don't be Mr. Caden" I said but whispered at my dad's name. Dalis giggled and so did I watching him giggling. They all laughed and Mack shook his head and walked over to the bar near the couch. I winked at them and walked over to my room. After an hour watching How to train your dragon 2 and drinking four glasses of vodka, I got up to go over to Little Muffin's room. I stormed in as usual and saw her. She was sitting on her bed with her novel resting on her thighs and her foot souls touching the soft and warm bed sheet. I shut the door after entering and she looked up at me and positioned herself sitting cross legged.

"Hey" I said smiling awkwardly. Actually we both were feeling awkward coz' of the thing which was about to happen between us before.

"Hey" She replied her face down. I walked to her bed and sat opposite to her. She was not looking at me but I was. And constantly.

"So. You wont even look at me after what happened between us" I said sarcastically.

"No. No. Its not like that. Ah. Actually firstly I am just feeling a little..." She swipe her tongue on her lower lip and continued, "Just a little awkward. And secondly it didn't happened. It was about to happen"

"Yeah. Yeah. It was about to. And I can understand your awkwardness coz' the same thing is with me right now" I said defending myself. She looked at me and turned her face to left.

"Look. It didn't happened" I said convincing her.

"Yeah but it was about to, Aaron" She said hastily.

"I know. But... Okay. I am sorry for what was about to happen" I said rolling my eyes.

"Yeah. And I am sorry too" She said nodding.

"Hmm... And you know what if that have happened before then I think you would have killed me. And I wouldn't stopped drinking" I said not looking at her.

"Why?" Is that so bad?" She asked embarrassingly.

"No. I mean yeah. It is. Coz' its a werewolf rule" I said.

"What? What wolf rule?" She asked confusingly.

"Its that. Umm... If a wolf kisses a girl-on her lips-then he and she become mates forever" I said.

"Mates?" She asked again confusingly.

"Mates are like girlfriend boyfriend. They have to marry sooner or later. They cant hook up with some one else after that kiss" I said explaining her.

"What? Really?" She asked her eyes widened and mouth a little open.

"Yes. I think its not a good time for a joke, stupid" I said hastily with a fake and short smile.

"Oh. My. God. Oh God. No I mean thank God we didn't kissed. Oh my God. Your mate? Yuck" She said making yucky faces.

"Excuse me. You know If I would have kissed you then it would be my loss. A handsome, hot, gorgeous, sexy guy with a nerdy boring Muffin. Yuck" I said making a yuck face at her.

"Hawww... I am nerdy and boring?" She said angrily and widening her eyes.

"Of course you are. No doubts" I said turning my face.

"What do you think of yourself Mr. Not Sexy gorgeous hot guy?" She asked sarcastically moving a little closer angrily.

"I... I think I am the werewolf. Who has so long nails and so fast speed and so sharp fangs that I can rip out the flesh of a person in a second" I said moving closer and closer to her while she moving back. I stopped moving and so did she.

"Really?" She asked innocently.

"Yes" I said showing my anger more than I was having right now.

"Oh my god. I am afraid Aaron. Don't do this to me please... My foot. I am not afraid of you. Coz' you cant kill me coz'... you need me. Oh sorry my blood" She said sarcastically.

"Oho... Hmm... Right. You are right. I cant kill you. But I can surely hurt you with my sharp nails" I said and brought my hand closer to her and my nails grew long sharp and light yellow in a second. She looked at it and fluttered a little. I raised my eyebrows. She then looked at me and swallowed.

"Aaron... Its okay. Don't be angry okay? Its not good for health you know" She said innocently. I wanted to laugh at her. At her scared face. But I controlled.

"Hmm... Okay delicate scared Little Muffin. I forgive you" I said smirking. I turned my face and she murmured something making faces realising I was not looking. I turned my face to her and asked her what but she said 'no no Aaron. Nothing'.

"By the way. Don't you want your answers?" I asked making myself comfortable on the bed.

"Yeah. Yeah. I want them. Will you answer?" She asked. I half lied on the bed with my elbows supported by the bed.

"That's why I am here. Ask" I said smirking.

KBASAA!!! Whoof! This chapter was a little boring. But Aaron and Agnis are cute. Dont they? In the next chapter Agnis will get to know much about werewolves. Wait for the next chapter guys. Till then stay blessed and enjoy :) :) :)
