CHAPTER # 26

Aaron's POV:

We all were in her room. We decided to cover up this with a story. But what story that we don't know. Mack brought some water to wake her up. Megan splashed some water on her face and she moved a little and slightly opened her eyes. She looked at me with her slight eyes open. I got close to her bed and held her arm. She observed me for a second and quickly removed her arm from mine. She quickly got up and sat on her bed with her knees close to chest. She was looking terrified.

"Agnis..." Dalis said.

"Hey Agnis... Listen... Calm down." I said while sitting next to her.

"Aaron... Aaron... You-you saw?" She asked crying. She was really scared. Her eyes were red of horror. She wasn't able to speak properly. She was shivering like hell.

"What?" I asked.

"That man Aaron. His eyes... They... They... were..." She again couldn't speak coz' of horror and was breathing heavily.

"They were what Agnis?" Hoyt asked.

"Hoyt they were... they were yellow. Initially his eyes were dark brown and then... Then... suddenly it changed to... to yellow..." She said still crying and shivering.

"What? No Agnis" Mack said.

"Yes Mack. I saw his eyes turned yellow. Something is wrong. With him and with you guys" She said.

"Nothing's wrong with us Agnis. If anything is wrong with someone then its you. You fainted and we don't know why. What happened. You didn't do the breakfast properly?" I asked her sarcastically.

"Aaron. No. I saw his eyes turned yellow that's why I fainted. Why don't you believe me. I saw it. It turned" She said confidently.

"Listen. Agnis. It might be your imagination" Fage said.

"No it wasn't. It wasn't an imagination. Please believe me" She said.

"Listen. I think it might be the reflection of sunlight" I said.

"No..." She denied.

"Agnis listen. There are two chances. One is that may be it was a sunlight reflection and the other is that it could be your imagination. So just calm down and relax. There is nothing wrong. Nor with us and neither with Randy. Okay?" I said.

"But..." She was about to say but Dalis broke her and said:

"Agnis please. Believe us. We aren't lying"

"So... Are you fine now?" Megan asked her.

"Yeah. Okay" She said.

"Okay guys. Now just leave her alone. And Agnis come down for lunch after an hour" Benken said. Little Muffin nodded and we went out.

Agnis's POV:

They left my room. I am damn sure that Randy's eyes turned yellow. What they think of me. Am I a fool? It wasn't my imagination. Nor it was sunlight reflection. It was something else. Something terrifying. Something strange. But what? I thought. I was thinking about it and I was scared too. How can anybody's eye color change. Its not humanly possible. And why the hell they are protecting Randy? If anyone is protecting or hiding anybody's secrets or faults then it is possible that he or she is also involved in it. So if they are hiding his secret that means they can also change their eye color. But how? They are something. But what? I thought. I was so confused and scared. I decided not to discuss it or ask any question about it from anyone. I decided to find it out quietly. I took a nap of half an hour and woke up. I quickly got dressed with skinny jeans and a yellow shirt. I got downstairs for lunch. I entered the dinning hall and saw everybody there. I decided to keep safe distance from them as I suspect them to be something terrific. Everybody looked at me and I ignored their looks. I got to the seat beside Megan. We were about to start the lunch just then Mr.Caden entered the dinning hall and they all got alert.

"Hey dad. Good afternoon" Angry bird said.

"Hey son" He said smiling.

"So dad. Its been two days I haven't seen you. Where were you. You didn't called even" Angry bird said.

"Actually son. I was out of town. For some business work you know" He said.

"Oh okay" Angry bird said.

"You tell. How was your breakfast today" Mr.Caden asked. They all looked at me and I bent my face down.

"Umm... Dad how do you know that we went for breakfast?" Angry bird asked.

"Aahn... Actually Dalis told me. I called him for some business work and he told me that you guys are at Floria Jeans Cafe for breakfast" Mr.Caden said looking at Dalis.

"Oh... Umm yeah dad actually it was... It was good. I mean great. We had fun there" Angry bird said while looking at Dalis angrily.

"Ah... Yeah..." Dalis said.

"Okay good. And Agnis..." Mr.Caden said.

"Yeah... Yes Mr.Caden?" I asked not looking at any of them but only Mr.Caden.

"You joined them or not?" He asked.

"Umm... For-for what?" I asked in confusion.

"For breakfast dear" He said smiling.

"Oh... Umm... Yeah-yeah I went with them. And ah... It was great" I said smiling back.

"Oh okay good" He said.

I didn't tell him about what happened there. And I don't know why. Neither did they told him the truth. We all finished up the dinner and Mr.Caden said:

"Okay son listen. I am going to France tonight with my colleagues. I'll be back after one week"

"What? But dad you know after three days its APFC" Angry bird said.

"Yeah I know son. But you know I don't like these fights and all. It all freaks me out. And by the way my place is given to Dalis for this APFC. He will handle all this" Mr.Caden said.

"Okay dad" Angry bird said.

"And yeah. I will leave for airport at 7 in evening so I'll have my dinner on my way. And yeah one more thing try not to hurt Agnis on APFC. I mean be safe" Mr.Caden said while pointing his eyes on me.

"Yeah..." Angry bird turned towards me and continued, "Yeah... We'll try"

"Hmm... Okay. So bye... And be safe all of you" Mr.Caden said.

They all said bye and Mr.Caden walked away. Angry bird turned his face towards me and I looked at him in confusion. He looked away. He looked at Dalis making an angry and funny face and crossing his arms across his chest.

"Hmm... So... Mr.Dalis Godwick? Or should I say Mr.Pet Poodle?" Angry bird said.

"Hey what happened" Dalis asked.

"You told everything to my dad. You always tell him everything. Okay do one thing if you go to washroom then also inform him that 'Hello Mr.Caden, I am going to washroom'. " Angry bird said.

"Yeah Aaron's right. You are such a sycophant" Hoyt said.

"Oh come on guys. Actually when we were at the Cafe he called me and asked me something about his office file and that file was at home so I told him that I couldn't tell him now so he began asking me hundreds of question. So I spit it out" Dalis said.

"Hmm... Whatever... I am going to my room. I need a nap. So I'll catch you guys later bye" Angry bird said and walked away. Megan and Fage went out for some air. Rest of them headed to their rooms and so as I with hundreds of questions in my mind.
