Chapter Five | Star GazingIt was Friday night. The most beautiful night of the week. It's a wonderfully clear, still night. The thin slice of a crescent moon shining brightly in the inky dark of the sky. Though it was a cloudless evening, only the two brightest of stars could be seen, the rest obscured by the lights from the city below. One large, ornate building in particular was lit up vividly with coloured beams and moving spotlights.
Something was happening at this place on this beautiful night.
Fancy cars and limousines were lined up in front of it, elegantly dressed men and women walked the carefully sculpted paths and up the stairs to the doors, dazzling in their suits, dresses and jewelry. Though the front doors of the manor were thrown open wide, they were flanked by security guards, each one carefully checking the ID's and invitations of the guests.
"I knew the Claremont's had money shooting from their ass, but I didn't realize it was this much money. This place is huge." De'Andre awed at the large building in front of us. It reminded me of a castle, but more modern and sleek. Even at night I could see the detailing and intricate work the architects put into the mansion.
I scoffed from the passenger seat. "I've seen better."
I felt a hand on my shoulder from behind, and looked back to see Caleb looking at me with a teasing grin. "Is someone a little jealous?" He teased, and I rolled my eyes, shaking his hand off my shoulder.
"As if."
Caleb, like De'Andre was family but unlike De'Andre we weren't related by blood, but rather more by loyalty. Our dad's grew up together and now work together, and Caleb and I have been attached at the hip since the beginning of elementary school. It was only right that I call him up and put him on about De'Andre and I little plan for tonight, and like always, Caleb was down. The Claremont's didn't like his family either because of their loyalty towards my family so Caleb was down with the plan from the jump.
"Okay, but all jokes aside, how the hell are we supposed to get in? I know you two see those two big ass gorillas guarding the entrance." De'Andre nods towards the security at the front of the manor as his sleek black car joined the throng of vehicles looking to pull up in front of the brightly lit building.
"Don't worry. I already got it covered." Celeb smiled, his lips stretching into a devilish grin.
"Please do tell because we're almost up next for the valet." De'Andre informed, tapping his gloved fingers on the steering wheel, inching the car forward a touch.
"Okay, so you know Teagan McAdams? Big tits, blonde, can literally ruin your life if you cross her?" Caleb started, his dark eyes looking between Andre and I.
"Yes, I know Thunder Tits Teagan. How is she gonna help us sneak in?" De'Andre asked.
I chuckled to myself, my eyes shifting to the back of the vehicle in front of his own. It were almost our turn to get out.
