Chapter 6

*Joy's POV*

I decided to leave Liz and Mikey alone because 1. I can't stand him and 2. They needed some alone time. I started walking around and looking for a friend when I was pushed down from behind. As I braced for my face to reach the floor, a pair of strong arms caught me.

"Oh god are you okay?" asked the guy that caught me.

"Um, yeah, thanks for catching me", I said brushing myself off.

"You don't smell drunk, how'd you fall?" he said chuckling.

"First, I don't drink, and I was shoved", I said laughing.

"I'm Jason", he said holding out his hand.

"Joy", I said shaking it."So what are you doing here? It doesn't really seem like your scene."

"Mikey's my best friend, so I was kinda obligated to come", he said scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, I see", I said nodding.

"So why are you here?" he asked.

"My best friend dragged me along because she's blantly smitten with Mikey", I responded.

"Ah, like all of the lovely women at our dear school", he said sarcasticly.

"You hate it too? Join the club", I said chuckling.

"You wanna get out of here? Like not in that way, just to hang out", he said clarifying.

"Um, I was supposed to go home with Liz, but I'll check with her", I said."I'll be right back."

I walked away and looked for Liz. She was talking to Jordan, I hadn't seen her walk in.

"Hey is it okay if I go for a while?" I'll meet you back here when the party's over, I promise," I begged.

"Yeah that's okay. Where are you going?" she asked smirking.

"No where", I said smiling and walking away. I walked back to Jason and grabbed his hand, pulling him out the door.

*Liz's POV*

Mikey pulled me over to his group of friends.

"Guys, this is Liz. Liz this is Madison, Nick, and Louis," Mikey said pointing to each of them. They smiled and waved then returned to their conversation.

"Here ya go babe," I heard a girl say. She handed the drink to Madison then held his free hand. I turned to get a look at her face then saw it was Jordan.

"Jordan?" I asked dumbfoundedly.

"Liz! Hey", she said nervously.

"Let's have a chat," I said pulling her away from the group. I saw Mikey walk away as well after l left.

"Babe?" I questioned her.

"Yeah, he kinda asked me out today," she said sheepishly.

"Oh my god! That's ama-

"Hey is it okay if I go for a while?" I'll meet you back here when the party's over, I promise," Joy said interrupting me.

"Yeah that's okay. Where are you going?" I asked smirking.

"No where", she said smiling and walking away.

"Forget her, I'm so happy for you!" I said hugging Jordan.

"Thanks. Is it okay if I go find him?" she asked.

"Go get him," I said pushing her away. She smiled and walked back to Madison. I decided to go look for Mikey since I didn't really know that many people here. I ran into Nick while walking around.

"Hey do you know where Mikey is?" I asked.

"I saw him go upstairs a few minutes ago," he replied.

"Thanks Nick", I said starting my walk to the staircase. I walked up and was faced with 5 doors at the top. The first one I walked into was an empty bathroom.

"Mikey?" I called out. No answer.

I opened another one and saw a girl's bedroom. "Maybe he has a sister," I thought. I opened the next one and found Mikey. Well Mikey with another girl. Who was shirtless and on top of him. I slightly gasped and Mikey looked at me in awe. The girl who didn't notice I was there started kissing him. He pushed her away and I ran out crying. I ran downstairs and felt an arm pull me back.

"Hey what's wrong?" Louis asked me.

"Ask Mikey," I said seeing Mikey coming downstairs pulling his shirt on. I pulled away and ran out the door.
