-Authours Note-
Before reading this, I'd like to say I dedicate this chapter to my friend and first follower LoveMyTigers. She's been there practically since day one and I was extremely conscious that I wouldn't get noticed by anyone because I was and still am one of the little people trying to work up to be big. She read my story and it really gave me confidence to keep writing, and Tigers, I can't say how glad I am to have met you, thank you for all the support and I hope you grow to be one of the greatest :3 . On a different note I will be dedicating the next few chapters to certain people, but I just felt I had to get LoveMyTigers in for her amazing help.
BACK TO THA STORAY
=Kyle's P.O.V.=
I stare in awe as Luke chops down on her arm. She doesn't scream, she doesn't struggle. Blood immediately begins pooling onto the ground, so much blood. I drop my knife and pull of my shirt to wrap around her arm, then tie it tight to apply pressure.
I look back to Claire as she turns around, eyes wide in horror from the bloody scene. Jacob's still crying, and Luke's holding his hat in one hand and running his hand through his hair with the other. "Well we can't just stay here, we have to get her back," he says as he expels a breath, stooping down to pick her up. He carries her back to the jeep and sets her down in the back seat, and Claire gives me Jacob so she can sit in the back with Rachel. The ride home is practically silent other than the slight rumbles as the jeep drives back along the dirt and pavement roads.
=Claire's P.O.V.=
When we get back home, the guys can barely say stop before I jump out of the jeep, Rachel in my arms. I'm making so much noise, but I don't care, let the walkers come. I throw open the front door and climb down to find my parents in the kitchen together. Their eyes widen as they see the bloody bundle of Rachel in my arms, and my mum runs forward. She puts her hands on Rachel's head, and runs into the other room. The guys come down, Kyle has his head down and it's obvious to see he's crying. My dad signals them to come into his workshop, probably to talk about what happened.
My mum comes back in with the First aid kit I found at the raided mart before, along with other supplies we had. We bring her to the other room to her mattress and my mum takes pieces of cloth and ties her hands to little hooks in the walls, a precaution in the event she turns.
=Marie's P.O.V.=
I begin to unwrap Rachel's arm, quickly noticing at how much blood she's lost. The stub that's left of her arm is red and inflamed, and might turn into an infection unless we do something. I send Claire up to go get water, soap, and rubbing alcohol as I pop open my kit and take out gauze, Neosporin (probably won't help but what the hell), anti-inflammatory pills, and a needle and thread. Claire comes down and she helps me clean the wound, then I turn to the rubbing alcohol. You can hear the flesh sizzle slightly as the alcohol touches the skin, and I wince at it. I quickly take the Neosporin and coat the arm in it, and begin to thread my needle. It's a bloody job, but without it she would die from infection if she didn't turn. I stab the needle into the flesh for the first time, and pull out to tense the string, and begin to go in again.
=John's P.O.V.=
"What happened.." I say as I lean up against the wall, Luke shuts the door and Kyle stoops down to sit on the floor. "We got ambushed, Kyle and Claire weren't with us when they did." Luke says quietly, lowering his head as he spoke. "We came as soon as we can, but she got bit by the last one," Kyle says as he looks up to me, his eyes still watering. "Here, I'll explain it to you..".
