Chapter 7

Title: Obvious Yook Sungjae!

It's the day where in Sungjae would be hosting Inkigayo and Red Velvet would be there. Just like before, he was still into participating his Fanboy moments at all times he can, Jackson walked into the backstage as he tapped him on the shoulder.

"Yook."He exclaimed making Sungjae smile at him.

"Jackson my man!"Sungjae greeted him in English which made Jackson chuckle at how funny he sounded.

"Your girl is here again, so how do you feel?"Jackson asked trying to catch him off guard.

"Nervous as hell but I try to man-wait! What girl are you talking about?"Sungjae trailed off completely baffled from the unexpected slip up tongue he just made.

"Hahaha! Caught you! Man were we right! You're way too obvious Yook Sungjae."Jackson points out making Sungjae tensed.

"Ne?! I'm that obvious?!"he was now panicking.

"To me and Yoo Jung yes, for the fans maybe? But to her and her members I guess not yet."Jackson honestly said making Sungjae even more tensed.

"What am I doing that it looks that obvious?"Sungjae asked.

"It's easy. Your eyes dude, if you only had the ability to melt people. Joy had probably melted years ago."he stated making Sungjae mentally face palm on his own stupidness.

Nice going Yook, you probably just broadcasted to the world how freaking head over heels you are to her. God I am so stupid.

He kept on scolding himself.

"Just a word of advice? Don't stand too close to her so that it won't be that obvious."Jackson advised him as Sungjae made a mental note of that.

During the short practice before the start of the broadcast, Joy was originally going to stand next to Sungjae as she was holding her own microphone. Yoo Jung and Jackson were getting their microphones to function when Sungjae suddenly suggested that Joy and Irene should swap places which surprised the girls but nevertheless did what was told. Irene stood in between Joy and Sungjae as the broadcast started.

Jackson noticed the change of placement from the Red Velvet members which made him mentally laugh at how funny his friend was.

God Yook Sungjae, I was stating not to stand too close I wasn't actually referring on making her move aside. Jeez this guy and his way of thinking.

Jackson thought as Yoo Jung just giggled at how cute Joy looked while she was confused on why she swapped her position. Joy was awkwardly standing in between Irene and Seulgi which she didn't actually like since her height was overflowing.

Aigoo, did I do something wrong?

She thought but quickly shrugged it off as she focused on the broadcast.

During the whole broadcast, Irene felt something weird with how Sungjae was acting while he was interviewing them. Though her attention was focused in front yet she was also observing the idol. When Sungjae started asking her the question Irene answered directly as Sungjae was nodding on the sides, when Jackson asked Joy a question Sungjae's expression changed.

Did I just saw his eyes sparkle? Omo!

Irene was startled then she noticed that Sungjae was somewhat like staring at Joy.

Is my eyes playing tricks on me?

Irene thought as she shakes her head slightly when she glanced back at Sungjae he was no longer staring at Joy and was now focusing on reading his lines and continue the broadcast.
