After the success of Rookie, Red Velvet has become even more busy as time goes by. Meanwhile Joy has been packed with a lot of schedules to fill in, she had multiple photoshoots together with her members, Fan meetings, guest shows at the same time filming her drama.
The pilot episode for The Liar and His Lover was a success though Joy was still lacking in her acting skills most of the netizen found her appealing on the screen, her youthful appearance in the drama never crossed the viewers mind that she was an idol. Despite having a positive point of view from her family, friends, members and the production team there would always be people who find ways to give off negative vibes.
Joy's bashers tried their hardest to pull her down, criticizing her acting skills her lack of emotions in the drama at the same time her overrated singing skills.
A lot of female idols can sing better than her.
Would Seulgi or Wendy might have been better choice than her?
She doesn't even have a chemistry with any of the male casts.

Those were only some of the hurtful comments she would frequently read on the comments on the first episode, tonight the second episode would be aired and she was already being drained from exhaustion since she barely had any sleep from all her filming. Most of the scenes includes her.
Joy started to feel lonely at the same time anxiety has kicked on her, she missed a lot of shows with her members. Red Velvet guessed in multiple Variety Shows excluding her since she was scheduled to film her drama, her members would never forget to check up on her when they have time yet they rarely see each other since her members go perform on music shows without her so that she can focus on the drama.
As much as she was enjoying the new experience, it was still a worry for her than she might have a lot regrets after fully committing to her drama filming. Well she's been working really hard to shoot every scenes since her company only allotted her to film about 2 months since she still needed to focus on her real career which is being an idol.
It already passed a month since she started working long hours at the same time memorizing her lines for the drama. She wanted to complain and also wanted to quit acting yet seeing her members and family cheer her achievements it was a very tough decision to choose, so in the end she had to endure it all.
Well, she did have some encouraging words from a certain someone.
Her bedroom door suddenly swung open revealing Yeri who happened to just came from a guesting shoot.
"Oh unnie, you're here. Have you eaten?"The maknae asked her as she slowly changed into her home clothes.
"Not yet, I'll go grab some sandwich later. I'll just lay down for a few minutes, my back hurts."Joy exclaimed making her younger member worry.
"I'll go grab some ointment for you and apply it on your back, I'll just go get it."Yeri stated making Joy to hum in response while continuing to close her eyes.
