Sunday Morning
Waking up, because of a text on a Sunday is not how I would like to wake up, but oh well.
I know it's super early and all, but C'mon get up. We Gotta meet Tiffany and Ryan at the mall
"Ugh" I groaned after I read Vanessa text. I looked at it once more before looking at the time on my phone.
8:00
"Seriously?" I huffed seeing the time.
I moaned and groaned before throwing the blankets and comforters off my body. I did my normal morning routine, before heading downstairs.
"Good Morning, Miss Rachel," my gardener says to me, while he carried big bags of dirt, going to our backyard.
I didn't bother saying anything since he was already halfway out of the house. When I came into the kitchen, I was surprised to see my Dad and Sebastian talking, since Dad is usually somewhere around the house drunk.
"Uuh good morning," I say making my presence known to them.
"Good Morning, Miss Rachel," Sebastian says instantly cutting off their conversation. "Can I get you something to eat or drink?"
"No, no," I tell him stopping his search through the kitchen cabinets. "I will be leaving in a few, just gonna grab an apple," I say picking up the fruit.
"Very well," Sebastian says to me, before looking at my Dad then exiting the kitchen.
"And where are you going, young lady?" My Dad asked as he took a sip of his coffee.
"The better question is how come you're up so early and wearing a suit, and not passed out?" I asked him looking at his attire. "Not that I'm complaining or anything. Just curious"
"Ahh, well I'll have you know I've been sober for about" he paused to look at his wristwatch. "24 hours now. And before you say anything else, I'm dressed like this because I'm going back to work"
"Wait? Really?" I questioned shocked.
"Yes, I've decided to not work from home anymore," he says sitting down in his coffee mug. "Speaking of which, I should get going"
Kissing me on the forehead, he left the kitchen in a hurry. Peeking my head out from around the corner of the kitchen, I saw him gathering up his briefcase and suit jacket.
He patted himself down, I guess looking for his car keys before one of the maids came up behind him giving it to him. He smiled before looking my way, blowing me a kiss as he made his way to the front door.
"Um well ok. Oh, I'll be at the mall all day by the way!" I called out, even though the door had already closed.
"Shall I come with you then, Miss Rachel?" Sebastian asked from behind me, causing me to jump a little. "I'm sorry, Miss Rachel, I didn't mean to frighten you," he says with a chuckle.
"It's fine" I waved off to him, referring to him scaring me. "And also, no need to come with me to the mall. I think I'll manage just fine"
"Are you sure? I, of course, won't mind helping you while you shop with your friends" he says walking out of the kitchen and towards the living room.
"No, it's perfectly fine, Sebastian," I say following after him. "I'm perfectly capable of carrying a few shopping bags if I want to shop," I say taking a seat on the couch. "But most likely Vanessa and her new friend Tiffany will be doing all the shopping, while I and Ryan just talk"
"Ooh, and whom may this Ryan fellow be?" Sebastian questioned with a playful look in his eyes as he gathered some old newspapers, that was on the coffee table.
