Chapter 3: The boy's Promise

Past 10 years

Sei's POV
I'm at the top of the mountain with the others and meditating. No one bothers me because they know its my training. I accidentally sense Yuno and Asta. I tried to keep doing it to remain my focus.

3rd person's view
"Wait." Yuno was running through the fields with Asta. He fell while running and tears began to form. Asta came and saw Yuno. "Are you okay?" Yuno just nod.

"Come on, Yuno" Asta called.

"Asta..." Yuno replied.

"Jeez. You're such a crybaby, Yuno." Asta said.

"Well..." Yuno tried to finish his words.

"It's okay!" Asta comforted.

"I've got your back, Yuno! Okay?" Yuno brush of the small tears.

"Yeah"
"All right. Let's get going."
"Everyone's waiting at the top!" Sei sense them running through their direction while holding each other's hands. Meanwhile Sei stop his meditation to eat with the others and listen to the Sister's story.

Sei's POV
...Yuno decided to say what he felt which almost cauhht me off guard.

"It's good, but...It's hard." Said Yuno. "Wait, it's harder, isn't it a bit too rough?" I asked.

"Maybe I'll help bake these next time." I added.

"Really? Thanks Seishiro." Sister Lily said.

"That's our Sister Lily! You're such an amazing cook! When I grow up, will you marry me and cook for me?"

"It was Father who backed those. Would you like to marry him?" She comment.

I laugh a bit on Yuno's side, then I stop because I realize there are three people that's watching me laugh, and worst of all, the first time they saw me without my fake glasses. "Y-your Seishiro right?" Yuno ask. I nod. "Sei! Please marry m-" "I refuse." I cut him off  because it's a stupid proposal. Why would he do that to a guy? Yuno placed my fake glasses back to me. I thank him after it.

"Marry me.(6x)"

"Asta, it's not possible. Sister is, um... a woman of the cloth. And Seishiro is a guy."

"I'm not done yet, Yuno! I won't give up until I'm an adult, no matter what!"

"Well, good luck with that." Then, the day after,Sister Lily tell us the story about the history of the first wizard king. It acctually became Asta's goal.

"Hey, Sister. The wizard king still exist, right?" Asta asked.

"Yes, it was passed down generation by generation at the clover kingdom, which they can protect everyone with all their might." Sister replied.

"Yes, I've decided!"

"About what, Asta?" I agree to Yuno's question.

"I'm... gonna be a wizard king!" When Asta said those words it made us shocked the three of us. "Sister?" Asta asked.

"I'm sorry. I just wasn't expecting that. What brought this on?"

"Well, he defeat the demon, right?" It gives me shivers when Asta said those, because I have a demon magic skill without any grimoire, on that day.

"That means he's super storng! And that's so cool! I wana be cool too! And... If I become important... If I become the wizard king, I'll be able to make everyone even happier, right? You'll be able to wear nice clothes and eat all the good food you want! I'm gonna make this crappy little church huge and amazing!"

"Crappy?"

"I'll get you whatever you want, too, Sister, also, you Seishiro!"

"I'll look forward to it. Right, Yuno? Seishiro?" Asked sister. "Yeah." Yuno replied. "I guess?" I said. The two's goal is to become a wizard king, but Yuno's not sure yet.

"😫What do you mean 'I guess' Sei?! And there's a question mark in it! And Sister! Marry me!"

"That's a complete different subject." That is her word of rejection for Asta's proposal. Asta's keep saying that he won't give up but sister keeps saying no. It makes me and Yuno laugh. When Asta try to make the baby calm, it cries even more.

"I'll handle that Asta. You can't make it sleep." I took the baby from him and its sleeps while I'm humming.

"Wow! You can make him sleep so deep even if it just a humming! Then, If I become a wizard king! Please mer-"

"Not, happening."

"I'm not done yet! Me-" this time Sister stop him by covering his mouth. Father came with an important letter, he look over me.

"Would you mind to-"

"I refuse. Your making me go outside even if you know that I can't stay outside because I'm going to meditate again." Father paused and everyone was shocked over me. "Seishiro, Seishiro just spoke more than 2 to 3 words..." tears began to form in their eyes. Wait, why are they so happy for?! I just happened to reveal my opinion! I just go inside the church without any words and start my meditation to focus my element source. No one knows about it since I'm not a talkative type.

I saw... Visions... Yuno and Asta, fighting someone. Yuno's Pendant is on the floor that was covered in snow.  Asta's tired. And them talking and smiling and making a promise. I should better go and catch up to them. The only spell I can use is limited tight now but worth it.

I teleported myself to where the two were and realized that I was too late because Asta's already in pain by the punch, but good thing their safe. And that's where I heard their conversation of becoming Rivals and revealing their true feelings.

Me: Yuno! Its the first time we talk today, so, hows your relationship with Sei?

Yuno: *blushed*

Sei: Hey! Don't you dare matchmake me to asta or yuno!

Me: sorry, not gonna do your request😄.

Sei: Hey! You might turn this story into Yaoi!

Me: Yes!

Sei: don't tell he this person's serious.

*Author left the group*

Asta: Hey! Tell me whose my future bride!

Yuno: No one is your bride.

*Yuno left the group*

Asta: Seishiro! Please marry me!

Sei: I decline. I refuse. Not happening. Goodbye.

*Seishiro left the group*

Asta:😢....I'm not giving up!
