Chapter 34.5: Light Magic Vs. Dark Magic

Seishiro's all POV
I can hear their conversation. But right now, I better save Asta. "An easy task." Valtos said. Then he attack Asta from the back. Then I use my sword to defend. "Huh?" Asta reacted. "That was close!" Asta said. "Your good at ki already, as expected." Uncle said to me. I know your expecting it since I knew about it. "Perfect timing. Practice on that scrawny dude with the slanty eyes." Uncle said. "Huh?! On the scrawny dude with the slanty eyes?" Asta ask.

"Hey, his not a scrawny dude, his Valtos." I said. The two look at me. "So you really know them." Asta said. "I don't have any complete memory of my previous life, but I can tell who they are." I said. "Besides, if I manage to remember their weakness you can beat them." I said.

Why are you saying that with a huge confidence?! You used "if" so it could be impossible! - Asta.

"So, better do it, Asta." I added. "That's too sudden! Of course I can't!" Asta said. Then uncle smoked. "Where I come from, we've got this saying... "A warrior never goes back on his word." You said you were going to become the Wizard King, didn't you? Surpass your limits. Right here, right now. There's no other way." Uncle said. "Yes, sir!" Asta responds. "Also, since they're after you. Just defend yourself. We can't make sure that they can't capture you." Captain Yami warned me. "Yes, sir. But, I'm not sure if I can, since the spell he used to me last time is too strong for me to handle." I said. Then remembered the timing and how he casted it. Then I smirk.

"The way you plan or think of something with a green makes you look creepy, even tough your goodlooking." Uncle said to me. "Huh? Well, I just found a way." I said. Then since I bring out my grimoire. I chnage it's page. "Light and Dark I command. Gave me your vision's ability." I said. "I din't want to do this but... can I use that form, Asta?" I ask. Then he looks at me shocked. "Hey! If you loose your control and never knew us, your going to attack even your comrades!" He said.

I sigh. "Fine. I won't do it." I said. "So your the mage Sally told me whom she called a guardian." Litch said. I just ignore him.

I don't get it at all, but... For starterz, concentrate... Concentrate! - Asta's mind.

For me, the "ki" is all about openning your sixth sense. - I said in telepathy.

"Someone with no magic like you could never stop my attacks." Valtos said. Then Asta sense it. "You're there!" Asta said then swing his sword, but something's off. Is it just me? "I didn't stop all of it." Asta said. Then he got kicked from the back. "Wrong." Uncle said. "You can't fool me, kid. You just reacted to your ears that time." Incle said. "So that's why something seems off." I said. "Seishiro, you noticed and didn't reacted?" Uncle ask. "Sorry, I just can't tell since I never saw anyone practicing it." I said.

"But... That action you created ain't a ki. Dumbasta! Use all five senses, and sense it with your whole body, you moron!" I added. Then Asta went shocked. "S-Seishiro's lecturing me?! Wait. You sounded like Captain Yami and Noelle last time!" Asta said while being shocked. "With my whole body?" Asta ask to Captain Yami. "Yeah. You can't just relly on your ears or your eyes. Visualize something halfway between instinct and a prediction. If you don't do it right, I'll kill you!" Captain said. And I nod in agreement.

That's insane. But I think I kinda get it. Not just my ears, not jsut my eyes... Then... I'm just going to reset everything. Concentrate... - In Asta's mind.

I can see his closing his eyes. So I didn't interfer to his concetration. I can say he manage to get it now. Then I saw he open his eyes. "You're there!" Asta said, then swing his sword to defend himself. More like he reflect it back to Valtos. "Whaー" Then it hits Valtos. Valtos got defeated that fast? I hipe Litch won't gone bersek.

"I did it! *laughs* I did it, Captain Yami!" Asta said. "Wow, you actually managed to do it? Talk about creepy, you weirdo." Uncle said. "Whaaaat?!" Me and Asta's reaction.

I tought he was going to praise him but it's the exact opposite!! - Me.

"Valtos..." Litch said. My gaze turn to Litch when I heard him. "How dare you... harm Valtis?" Litch ask then look at us with  a glare. "I cannot allow people like you to harm my comrades ever agaian!" Litch said. When he said those, it bringe me the past that I never wanted to remember again. The past I've witness and forgotten, then remembered. The past where on that day, so many of them died. "What's your deal? You're the ones one started this!" Then I battle stance. "Joran, remove my restriction." I said. Then he remove the restriction. "Thr path this soell traces resembles the motions of a whip. Can you predict its movements? It's said that whips were used to punish criminals, once upon a time." Litch said. "Litch! Don't do it!" I said. "Sorry, but I will for my comrades and to get you back." Litch told me. "That makes it a perfect foit for you two! Light Creation Magic: Light Whip of Judgement!" Then it tries to attack them. I goes towards their from and defend.

"Then, I'm sorry, too, Litch. Rare Defensive Magic: Magic Resistance Shield." I said then put my hands on my front like I'm trying to reach something. The huge shield protected us. His whipe is too long. It even damaged the parts of the cave. Then he laugh. "It's useless to struggle!" He said. When I felt a bit pain, I realized some part of his light magic can get trough. Now I have a wound on my cheek. "Asta, Captain. I might not be able to handle his attack. So, I'm counting on you on offense. I guess I can only support you and defend myself." I said. Then the shield vanished. "Tch! It already reached the time limit. This magic is crazily useless." I said. Then use my white sword by exchanging the triple. "That nutcase has gine ballistic!" Captain said. "These guys are really something!" Asta said. Then huhe ricks falls down over us. I use thsi act to make Litch think we didn't survive but. I use my shield again. It's not useful, I only make them think I'm weak.

"Oh, dear... I held back most of my magic,  but it's really too fragile... and I will look for you later Seishiro. Both this world and you fools." Litch siad. "You're amazing, Master Litch! Your strength is practically divinde!" Valtos praised him. "Valtos, search for Seishiro. I need to know where he ran off." Litch siad. "Master Litch, you didn't know?" Valtos ask. "Huh?" Litch ask. "Seishiro was alsoe with the two when the rocks went over them." Valtos said. I can tell Litch is thinking of something. "If you felt like it, Master Litch, the Magic Knights would be no more that infants!" Valtos said. "No, if Seishiro's with them then it means..." litch said.

I smirk. "His too smart. Time to showed up." I said. Then the three of us came out from the rocks. "What?!" Valtos said. Then Litch's smile is no more to be sight.
