Evan's POV

My dad came rushing into my room. He had the daily newspaper in his hand.

"Morning father." He looked at me then the paper. He flips it around so I could see it. "Is this you?" He asked, seeming a little jumpy.

I looked at the picture. My eyes went wide. I looked up at my dad. "You were with the prince. I'm happy and disappointed at the same time."

I looked down. "Evan, I'm going to tell you this right now. If you love that boy, get him." He put a hand on my shoulder.

I looked up and smiled. "Thank you Dad." I brought him into a tight hug. He hugged back. "I want you to be happy Evan. I wouldn't ask you to feel otherwise."

He broke the hug and looked into my eyes. "Now, go get 'em." He smiled. I nodded and ran out of the door.

Jonathan's POV

I ran. My breathing was fast. I held my stomach, which hurt because I was running for so long.

"Jon!" I heard a familiar voice yell. Tears burned in my eyes. "Evan!" I ran into his arms. I cried into his shoulder.

"Shhh, what's wrong Jonathan?" He asked. I looked yo at him. "M-my Dad found out. He forbids me from seeing you."

Evan's eyes filled with tears. I used my thumb to wipe them away. "He can't keep you away from me." He said, his voice cracking in the middle of his sentence.

I buried my face in his chest. "Why is the world so unfair?" I choked out. He placed his hand on the back of my head.

"Shhhh, we'll be okay. I promise." He reassured me. I wanted to believe him. I wanted to so fucking bad, but I didn't.

"Nothing will ever stop making me love you." I looked up at him. "I-I don't believe you Evan..." More tears streamed down my face.

He caresses my cheek gently. He looked down at me. "It doesn't matter if you believe me. I'll prove it to you." He said with a weak smile.

He wiped away my tears. "I love you Jonathan. Nothing is going to change my mind on that statement." He places something in my hand.

"When you get home, open that." I looked up at him. My cheeks had tear stains. "I still want you." I say.

"It'll always be you and me. Together forever, no matter what." He smiled down at me.

I smiled weakly up at him. "Please don't leave me..." I say quietly.

He makes me look at him. "I will never leave you Jonathan."
