Chapter 1. Lauryn.

I woke up slowly to my alarm. All I could hear was "Cause I'm happy! Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof!" I sat up rubbing my eyes. Man I hate having to get up for work. I sniff...Is that...Toast? I get up and go out the door and to the kitchen. "...Kim you're making food?" Kim's in the kitchen with a knife in hand and burnt toast on the chopping board. "Lauryn!" she turned to me and put the knife down. "Heh...This was suposed to be ready by the time you got up. "Why are you making toast? You know we agreed not to let you make anything or cook. Unless it was a sandwich or pop noodle."

"I know...But I thought I'd make this a special breakfast as it's your first day at your new job!" Kim grinned and turned putting butter on the toast and then putting the burnt food on a plate and gave it to me. "here! Now I don't have time to talk! I have to get ready for work myself!" Kim skipped off to her room and I sat and ate. Burnt....well I can live with it, I swallowed and ate the rest.

After breakfast I got ready. I put on a white shirt and some leggins. Kim had already gone. I picked up my phone and left my apparment.I walked the streets of London towards my new job. I put my name badge and soon got to my job. I looked up at the sign that stood out for a long distance. "Tokyo Toys" I mumbled under my breath and walked in. Straight away I was greeted with many anime geeks like me. Man me and kim have been here so many times ever since we've moved here away from our homes. "Hello. You must be Lauryn." I turned and my eyes widened. "What are you doing here Kim?" I asked stuttering. "Well I got to work and well....Found out that I really had a day off, No rehearsals today." She put her hand on her hip. "I also want you to meet someone. Me and him have been friends for years!" She turns and calls out randomly. "Dan?! Lauryns' here!" faces looked at us. Oh god Kim why must you cause a scene.....

After a few calls a young man around his 20's like me walked over. His eyes were dark brown and his hair was a dark brown and straightened. He wore black clothing. Straight away I was drawn to him.

He smiled and Kim pointed to me. "Dan that's Lauryn." She then pointed to Dan. "Lauryn this is Dan

"Hello." Dans voice just sank into my mind.

"H-Hi.." I started to feel myself going red. Oh no!

I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked. It's my manager! "Lauryn...It's nice to see that you've made it...and you're 6 minutes late for your shift." She wasn't happy. Great first day and I find out that my manager is strict time keeper. Yay.....
