Christmas Decorating

Kim's P.O.V

It's finally December! I'm so excited!

I dragged all of the Christmas decorations out of the spare room into the living room before standing up straight with my hands on my hips, breathing heavily. Suddenly Lauryn came through the front door and dropped a bag she was holding and looked up at me with a big smile. "Is it that time?" She asked, looking down at the decorations and unassembled tree.

I tucked my long brown and red hair behind my ear and nodded. "oh yes it is." I smiled back.

She giggled and threw her keys on to the sofa. "Finally!" She ran down the hall into her room. "Just let me get changed first!"

"Mkay!" I called after her. I tipped the unassembled tree parts out of the box and stared at it for a few seconds and sighed.

Lauryn came out of her room dressed in black skinny jeans and a black and white Christmas jumper. "I am festive!"

I laughed and grabbed my phone. "We're gonna need some assistance with this." I pointed at the pile of tree pieces. "Mind if I call some friends?"

"Go ahead."

Phil's P.O.V

Pretty much all day I've been lying in my bed listening to the same love song stuck on repeat. The one that makes me think of her..

I mimed along to the words:

"So honey now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
That maybe we found love right where we are."

I'm always thinking of Kim. I can't get her off my mind.

I think Dan is worrying about me as well. He keeps checking on me every-so-often, peeking his head around my door which often resulted in him getting a Pikachu thrown at his face. I'm not moody I just thinking. Except I'm not thinking out loud.

I'm in love with Kim.

At that exact moment, Dan came straight into my room. "Use another Pokémon against me and I swear to god-" he held his hands up in the air.

"I'm not going to." I sighed.

"Look," he sat down at the side of my bed. "What's up?"

"Nothing.."

Dan paused for a few seconds so the only sound in the room was the Ed Sheeran song that was playing quietly in the background. "No way!" He screeched.

"What!?" I sat up at yelled back as he hurt my ears with his sudden loud pitched tone.

"You love her! You love him!" He beamed.

"No I- I don't- I... I know.." I fell back onto my bed and hid my face into my pillow. "How did you know."

"The music, the blushing, the quietness. I could go on. I mean, it's pretty obvious." He chuckled.

"What do I do!?" I pleaded.

"Well for starters.." He slammed his hand down on the off button on my stereo. "Turn that off, get your lazy butt out of bed and tell her!"

"I-.." Just as I was about to speak my phone rang. And it was Kim.

"H-Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Phil!" She chirped. Wow I've really missed her voice. "We're just about to put our Christmas tree and wondering if you might be nice enough to help us?" He giggled.

I laughed and spoke with a big smile on my face. "Of course we can! We'll be straight there!"

"Great! See you soon."

"Bye."

"We're going straight where to do what?" Dan asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Straight to Kim's and Lauryn's to help with the decorations." I jumped off my bed and got changed.

"Kay." Dan laughed.

Once I had got changed, Dan and I made our way over to Kim's and Lauryn's. I knocked on the door and was instantly greeted by Kim's beautiful face. "Thanks for coming guys." She grinned and let us in, giving us both hugs. Lauryn ran to the door and did the same.

"Well we tried to start with the tree but it kind of failed." Lauryn pointed to the scattered pieces and I laughed.

"We're here to help, it's okay." Dan chuckled.

Kim and Lauryn offered us tea which we gladly said yes to as it was absolutely freezing outside.

We managed to get the tree up within two hours. Yeah, we weren't really that much help. We pulled out the decorations and began throwing them onto the tree, laughing and joking around with them as we do.

"We really need Christmas music!" Kim said.

"I think Michael Bublé." Dan spoke up.

They put on Michael Bublé and were dancing and laughing around the living room in seconds.

Dim multicoloured lights barely lit up the room but set a sweet, romantic atmosphere. And Kim looks so beautiful.
