The Human!Fancy Pants Adventures: Venomous Bittersweet

Chapter X: Run,Kabootle,run!

              Kabootle lost himself again while chasing a little mouse that leaded him to the Spider Castle. Luckily he didn't get caught by the guards. Behind one of the columns on the Royal Hall, Kabootle noticed an unconscious Fancy Pants in the floor and shook nervously; he knew something wasn't going well.

               -Aw, how sad! ~ The little hero in fancy clothes has fallen on a deep dream! - The Queen said –Now: Guards, take him to the "secret studio" and prepare him for his "conversion"- She ordered, and a pair of guards took Fancy to a hidden room behind a pair of dark gray curtains. Suddenly, a little bottle with orange liquid fell from the roof full of spider webs and hit the ground without breaking. Kabootle saw the shiny object, and couldn't resist the need to take it. He came out from the column and took the shiny glass with his mouth. But like people say: 'The curiosity caught the cat'.

              The Queen noticed Kabootle stealing the last medicine bottle, and got upset -What the- WHO'S THIS ANIMAL INTRUDER?! GUARDS! GET HIM, NOW! - The Queen shouted, and a group of guards started to chase the little kitten. Kabootle screeched and ran away from the guards, escaping the castle in the process.

              The spider soldiers arrived to the dark room. One of them turned on a little light bulb on the top. Then, they put Fancy's body on a bed and started with the process.

               But somehow Fancy wasn't reacting or at least attacking, he wasn't even moving. They noticed this and started to dialogue:

               -Hm...This doesn't seem well- The first one said, analysing Fancy's health.

               -What's the matter? - The second one asked.

               -The conversion isn't complete, there's something blocking it. His pants' colorful graphite is obstructing the venom's effect.

               -What can we do about it?

               -I have an idea- He said, and went to a locker near the bed. The guard took out a little syringe with a black substance inside, it was something more than ink; and then, he injected it in Fancy's arm. They waited for the conversion to be completed...but nothing happened.

              -He's hopeless- The spider guard said -If he doesn't wake up quick, all the plan will go to waste

              -Let's take our time, maybe the effect will take more than usual- His companion said giving some hope to the situation

              -Fine then- He answered

              A couple of minutes later, Fancy didn't wake up yet, but the second spider guard called for the other guard's attention -Hey, look what the Fancy kid had with him- He found Fancy's pencil, it was still damaged. He gave it to his partner -Hm...This can be useful- He said, as he snapped the pencil in half. But suddenly, the pencil was losing its color, with the erasing side turning black and the graphite side turning white.

              -Here, we'll take the eraser side. Take this other one and hide it, it won't be useful as a weapon- The spider guard said as he threw the graphite side to his partner, who obeyed the given command.

               But like a weird coincidence, Fancy started to wake up from his spider comma -Hey! Quick! He's awake! - The guard said to the other guard. Fancy sat on the bed while shaking his head a little. They took out their spears in case Fancy attacked them, but it didn't happen. Instead, Fancy was very calm, he wasn't even bothered by the fact he was on an unknown place. The guards slowly walked towards him, and placed themselves in front of him.
