This is my first time writing a story and publishing it. I hope you enjoy it and sorry if I make any mistakes. I usually type on my phone and sometimes on my computer. I will try my best to update everyday as I can, but there's a bigger chance that I won't because there isn't a lot of people reading it. I will try for those of the people out there who are reading it. I really appreciate it and please do not copy my story and if you have any suggestions or ideas, please comment. Please vote and enjoy my story!

I couldn't believe I was finally here. At Baylor Medical Teaching Hospital after 5 years of training.

It seemed like just yesterday I was learning how to stitch deep cuts. My satisfaction was cut off from my dad's car honk.

I turned around and saw him crying while smiling. It was obvious that he couldn't go until I entered the building.

When I was about to walk, I was bumped into by a girl with glasses in a ponytail. Her notebooks dropped and I began to help her pick them up.

" Sorry, I didn't see you there. " she murmured.

" It's fine. As long as we're not hurt. Well, as long as you're not hurt since you're a really small person and I'm just- ya know." I smiled. I can tell she wasn't afraid to admit her own self.

" I'm Anna Valley." I raised my hand.

" I'm Lindy. And yes, I am twice the size as you, but I can still manage to be a doctor. " she shook her hand into mine.

" It's nice to meet you. Do you want to walk in together?" I offer.

" Hell ya! I was not going to go in there by myself." she took my wrist and dragged me to the building.

I turned around to wave at my father goodbye, but he was no where to be seen.

As we walked in, the hospital was hunormous. I still couldn't believe that I would be working here. I saw cafes and a cafeteria.

" This must be the first floor. I'll be spending a lot of time here." she joked. I chuckled.

" I think we're supposed to go to the second floor. I heard we were going to get free lockers." I informed.

" All right! Let's get the party on!" She walked towards the elavator and I followed her.

I am now officially starting my dream. This is so unbelievable. How is this even happening? What if I do horrible in the first day? What if I kill a person because I accidently cut the breathing cord? My mind begins to rush through these worries.

" Hey. Lighten up. This is the part where we get to be doctors. It was my dream when I was little. It was my dream ever since I watched Doctor Who and now in a few seconds, I'll be a doctor." Lindy sighs in relief.

The elevator dings and the doors open. Some people get out of the elevator and the crowd behind me began to rush in. I was literally pushed in by the crowd. Then again, I have a small body.

I sigh and hope that today will be a very, good day. I could tell that Lindy was hoping, too. The elevator stops at the second floor and the doors open.

They were doctors and nurses everywhere. I walk out of the elevator and didn't know what to do.

I didn't want to be that shy girl who awkwardly just stands around. I ask one of the nurses where the interns are supposed to be and she said that there was a locker room down the hallway. I thank her as I make my way down the hallway.

Lindy follows my lead as we walk into the locker room. A bunch of people were shaking their heads and introducing themselves.

I seem to have draw attention to a guy who locked his eyes on me. I glance at him for a second and turn around to Lindy.

" Are you nervous?" I ask.

  " Nope." She confidently says.

  " Me too." I lie.

A tap on my shoulder startled me and I turn around quickly.

" Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that. And I'm sorry for staring at you a few seconds ago. My attention was drawn to something beautiful." he laughs. His voice is very deep and raspy at the same time.

I blush and was about to answer him, but Lindy comes from behind me.

" Why, thank you. I'm not an easy sport to be complimented on, but I can take it." She flirts.

" Sorry, I was talking to your friend over here." He nods his head at me.

" Oh, I'm not beautiful. Trust me. If you ever seen a girl that snores like a laughing donkey, you're looking at her." I tease.

He laughs and says," Well, nice to meet you, too. I'm Garrett and also an intern. You can pick any locker you want and there will be a free lock inside it. It was very nice to meet you." He takes out his hand.

I shake it and thank him. I walk over to a locker with the number 2305. I smiled and couldn't be any more happier that it was my first day at work.
