Chapter 7: Duo

It felt never-ending for Yoza to be traveling in this ginormous forest that she was chasing after the demons in. Remus and Granz caught up to her eventually and hit a double attack, knocking her down with a diving kick.

Yoza: Who the hell was that!?

She'd backroll in mid-air and land safely on the floor, crouched down looking left and right, wondering where her attackers are. They'd appear in the sky, coming down to stomp on her but Yoza noticed just in time, rolling out of the way to a tree, hiding behind it.

Yoza's Thoughts: Must be those guys who took Zhaylen. I can't just fight them here in this crowded forest. Running away isn't really a good option either. Okay...I'll stay and fight.

Remus: Come out, come out wherever you are!

Granz: We don't wanna fight, we just want to make your suffering quick and painless.

Yoza: Like hell, you will!

She'd come out of the tree that she hid behind and got down into her natural stance with an orange flare building upon her body. Remus and Granz were confused but ran at her instead of standing around perplexed.

Yoza: Hell's Spear! 

A strong surge of power rushed up and made her speed double while zipping past both Remus and Granz with her blade aimed in a stabbing direction at them. She turned around after the technique would wear off and see that they were both in the air, having avoided the attack at the last second. 

Remus: She's fast.

Granz: We're faster!

Granz gripped onto both of Remus' legs, spinning around quickly and letting go so that he dived down towards Yoza at incredible speeds. Yoza swiped her sword upwards to stop him but on his way down he grabbed the blade and placed a hand on Yoza's forehead. She felt a little prick before judo tossing Remus to the floor which hadn't done anything except let him motion himself back onto his feet.

Yoza: What did you do? I felt something poke me.

Remus: Temporal nerve damage. The way I apply it is using any part of my body as a living needle and poking it into your skin. My body was designed to be a living poison that no one can resist, not even those with the strongest of wills such as Hero. One touch and your body can be shut down for ten seconds

Everything in Yoza's body went numb. She couldn't feel anything at all and couldn't even move. 

Yoza's Thoughts: No way! I can't move!

Remus: Granz, I'll let you take it from here. 

Granz: With pleasure. 

A pitch black figure that resembled Granz grew from his body that followed him as they both performed a rapid amount of punches to Yoza who couldn't defend herself even if she tried. They ended their relentless combo with one last combined punch. Yoza was sent through multiple trees, landing at the edge of a river. Her ten seconds were up and she could finally move again but this proved to be difficult due to Granz' harsh combo of punches. The black figure he made disappeared as Remus and he walked over to Yoza's laid out body.
