Chapter 8: Happy Mistakes

I sat there and listened to her rant to them. I think she intended to make it dramatic. The looks on their faces were priceless. She gave me a wink on the way out. How sweet, she tried to make me laugh to cheer me up.

Before I know it, the boys approach me. I look up at them and none of them say anything. I'm waiting when I get smushed by V, Jimin, and Jungkook. The unholy maknae line. But the hug felt so warm.

"You needed a hug." V says. I hug them back, mumbling a thank you. The hug was nice. I think if we hung out any longer, we'd become friends. I don't mind as I am spending 2 weeks with them.

They release the hug and smile at me. "We should take some photos!" Hoseok chimes in. That's when the fun begins. I hurriedly grab my camera as each one of them mess around and laugh. For a short time, V had grabbed the camera, making me be in the photos.

That certainly made up for being hurt earlier. Although, it still hurts. Not once has namjoon looked at me.

"Hey y/n, can I ask you a question?" Jin replies shyly, pulling me aside. I nod and wait for his question curiously.

"That woman that came in here earlier with you, do you know her?" he asked curiously, rubbing the back of his neck. I raise an eyebrow as if to wonder why, but I know just exactly why. Seems the feelings aren't one sided after all.

"Yeah. She's in my class back at the school. We're both here for our projects. Why?" I ask trying to suck some information from him.

"No reason in particular, I just noticed she was new." he replied instantly. Yeah, that won't fool me.

"Well since I'm busy, maybe you can introduce yourself to her, so she's not lonely for the next 2 weeks." I offer kindly, making myself oblivious to the obvious situation at hand.

He smiled and nods, sprinting out the door to "accidently" run into her. Hmm? Looks like a certain someone will be getting that run in with Jin after all.
