Chapter 2

My phone buzzed.
Catrina Vega: When can I come over sometime?
Catrina Vega has also been one of my best friends since birth, what a coincidence that all of our moms are best friends. Catrina has also had the hots for Ty. A nickname I have called him since I could basically speak. Me and Catrina are like sisters basically, but I do have a younger brother named Caden that's 11. Caden also has had a huge crush on Catrina for some reason for like a year now.
Catrina has dirty wavy blonde hair with blue dyed ends and blue eyes with freckles and a bull ring piercing on her nose. We're both 5'5 exactly and Tyler is like 5'9 with brown hair and green eyes.
I'm exactly kinda like Catrina except I have brown wavy hair with hazel green/brown eyes and some freckles and I also have a nose piercing.
As me and Tyler stand at his doorway, he snaps me back into reality.
"So, how've you been?"
"Uhh, I've been good actually." Lie.
"I'm probably gonna watch a movie since I'm bored, you wanna join? I could make your favorite snack, what do ya say?"
My favorite snack is coffee ice cream with m&m's plus popcorn. Tyler knows pretty much everything about me, he's been like someone I look up to.
"Sure." I walk over and sit on the bed, as Tyler gets up and walks out of the room to get our snacks. I turn on the tv and go to Netflix on the Roku. As soon as Tyler gets back, I smile and he smiles back. I don't know why I feel so nervous around him, but I just do. He sits right down next to me very awkwardly close and is practically almost cuddling with me as he hands me my snack.
"Thanks."
"No problem." He winks. I blush instantly and hope he didn't see.
We soon agreed to watch a tv show instead of a movie, which is Family Guy. We laugh and talk about the show and soon I notice that we are so close to each other I feel warm and my heart beats faster. I put my finished bowl of ice cream down and tell Tyler I'm going to the bathroom and kinda speed walk like an awkward person out of the room towards my bathroom. I shut the door and then slide down against it to calm down.
"What is happening?! I'm gaining feelings for him." I keep telling myself he wouldn't like me, I'm too awkward and shy.
I hear a knock on the door. Muffled sounds soon come from the other side, "Hey Tori, are you ok? I noticed you quickly ran to the bathroom. You sick?"
"No! I'm fine." I feel like I'm panicking. I unlock the door and creak it open slowly.
"You look pale."
"Oh, I don't know what it is. My anxiety is acting up."
"If you need to talk I'm here you know." He pulls me in to hug me, I breathe in and he smells of Axe cologne, I feel comfort in the scent.
"Ya I know."
I pull away and then realize I forgot to text Catrina back.
Me: Tomorrow you can come over and stay.
Catrina Vega: Yaaassss bitch, great ;)!
