Chapter 4

Jack jumps on my bed and yells "Wake up bitch!"
I groan "Stoooopppp."
"Where'd Catrina go?"
Now I have to explain this whole funny bit to Jack.
"Catrina tried to make a move on Tyler saying he looks at her in a way and he must like her, but Tyler told her that he likes someone else. So she stormed out of the house at 3 AM."
Jack looks at me, "That little skank, she doesn't surprise me though with her little desperate ass."
"I know." Jack just keeps ranting and goes on and on about how Catrina was being a little hoe. I don't say anything because I don't want drama between us but Jack is basically full on drama all the time.
"Wait, who does Tyler like and why were you up at 3 AM?"
I shrug "How am I supposed to know. Plus I heard something and I must've heard them so that's how I kinda found stuff out."
"Mmhm." Jack sighs "Well, I'm starving, this bitch needs to eat something before someone dies today." Jack starts strutting out of my room and then I grab my wallet and head out of my room, bumping into Tyler.
"Whoops sorry." I blush and kinda nervously smile.
"Sorry, it's fine, I need to watch where I'm going." I feel as though I should bring up last night, but I don't know if I should later on.
"You wanna go get something to eat?"
Tyler looks at his phone and goes "Ya sure, let me get ready."
My Mom is sitting in the living room and bids us goodbye as we walk out the door.

After going to McDonald's and heading home, Jack starts asking Tyler questions.
"So, Tyler, where'd Catrina go last night?"
Tyler looks up and gives Jack a cold stare.
"I don't know actually, because I was asleep."
I start fidgeting and pull out my phone and text Jack.
Me: Stop being petty and don't ask him questions.
Jack checks his phone and looks at me and just keeps asking questions.
"So is there anyone that you like or find cute?"
Tyler just keeps driving and goes "Ya, I like this one girl but I don't know if she likes me back."
Soon enough we make it home after that stressful ride. I hand Mom some of her food and then head to my room with Jack.
"Are you stupid?"
Jack laughs and goes "Ha, no, I think Catrina is the stupid bitch out of all of us though."
I sigh.
"I really don't want this drama, ok."
Jack giggles, "It's fun though."
"I like Tyler ok!"
Jack's face went blank. "It's kinda obvious, you hoe."
"How?"
"The way you blush and get nervous around him, so ya it's obvious."
Omg it's obvious, ugh this is an embarrassment. "I'm so stupid."
"You're not stupid, Catrina is a slut and you deserve someone like Tyler, come on we have all been friends since we were born."
"Can I be alone for awhile?"
"Ya, I gotta go anyway because my mom needs me."
As Jack goes out of my room he looks at me with wide eyes and an uh-oh expression as Tyler enters.
"You heard all of that!?"
"Ya. I can explain Tori."
"You don't have to explain to me anything, I know you like someone else, if you don't like me it's not gonna hurt my feelings."
Tyler runs his hand through his hair and I stand up to cross my arms of my chest.
"Tori.....Ugh, the thing is....." Tyler moves closer over to me where we are practically face to face.
"Ty.." He presses his lips against mine as I started to speak. He holds his hands on the sides of my face and then he moves them to my waist, pulling me closer to him. I pull my face away and look up into his green eyes and he looks at me. I'm flustered and confused all at once.
"Tyler...you like me?"
"Why are you surprised?"
"Because I don't know, I just never thought you would."
He pulls me out and holds both my hands. "Tori, I've liked you for awhile now and you mean a lot to me, we've known each other forever."
"Ya, I know, but why not some girl like Catrina or something?"
"Catrina is different and she has been with several different guys and I know you're not like that at all."
"Oh."
"You're lovely, that is why I like you, you are so much more than a girl like Catrina."
He hugs me and pulls me close, resting his chin on my head. I feel a sense of being overwhelmed but I like it, I never would of thought that Tyler Dunn would like me in all of my days. He kisses my forehead and goes "I have to go for a little while, but when I get back do you wanna watch a movie or something?"
"Sure."
Tyler acts as though all this is normal, I guess it's normal to him, but for me my feelings are an emotional roller coaster. For once in my life, right now I'm actually feeling really happy.

Genuinely happy.
