a memory in a photograph

photographs embody memories,

for that they were given the role to keep 'em alive

but for some,

it stood clear that they're meant to imprison

those who sought to go on,

leaving them burnt to ashes

and torn apart.

cause visions of the past,

the prints of history were stamped over the

satin-like papers

gray scaled or hued,

proves existence once and for all.

Have them kept in boxes

in chests,

or books,

Have them burnt

or stripped,

and torn,

but they're able to nullify obliviousness

at the very least.
