Chapter 19: Allie

I woke up to feeling strong arms wrapped around my waist. I turned over uncomfortably with the baby bump that had formed.

Being werewolves, our pregnancies are shorter. Instead off nine months, our pups are born within four and a half. It's been a month since we found out I was pregnant and two weeks since I was captured. 

I find Caleb passed out next to me. He looks so peaceful, but we will have to change that. I notice a glass of water on the table and pick it up. I pour the glass right on his head. 

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" He sat up growling as water dripped down his face and onto his bare chest. 

He looked around before his eyes landed on me. His expression softened and he pulled me into him. "Mine" he muttered feathering kisses along my neck and mark. 

I laugh and snuggle into him. He ran a hand over my stomach and I felt a kick.

He looked up at me with love in his eyes. "I love you so much little buddy. Mommy and Daddy are dying to meet you." He whispered to my stomach placing a kiss on it. 

My eyes watered up. I pulled Caleb up and kissed him. The door opened and our little Christopher came running in the room. 

My parents wanted him to stay with them for a while so Caleb and I could get everything settled over here. Kane died trying to fight off our warriors and Seth was in our prison awaiting trial. 

"Mommy!" He screamed and hugged me. I hugged him back. "I missed you Momma." He said. He looked at my stomach weird. "You're getting big." 

Caleb and I widened our eyes at him. 

"Son, word of advice. Never say that to a pregnant woman." Caleb said chuckling. Chris gave me a weird and confused look. 

"What does he mean?" 

"Well, pretty soon you are going to have a baby brother or sister." I said. 

"Really!? YAY!" He yelled excited. He hugged me, "I love you Momma!" 

"What am I? Chopped liver?" Caleb said. 

"Don't be silly Daddy! You are Momma's butler!" Caleb and I laughed at this cute munchkin. 

"Go and annoy Uncle Damian for a while kid." Caleb said. Chris nodded and ran out of the room closing the door behind him. It was quite amusing to see. 

We laughed and Caleb turned back to me, "Now, where were we?" he said leaning in. 

Suddenly, a knock on the door sounded. Caleb let out a growl of frustration. "Somebody better be dying!" 

A servant wolf walked in shaking at Caleb's Beta voice. I put a hand over his to calm him down. He immediately relaxed and gave me a kiss on the forehead. 

"Yes, what is it?" He asked. 

"Alpha Damian wishes to see you in his office Beta." He said. 

"Fine I will be there shortly." Caleb replied. He kissed me n the head before heading to the bathroom to get ready. 

I got up and pulled on a T-shirt and yoga pants. I went down to the kitchen with Antonio following me.

"Mommy! HELP?!" My maternal instincts kicked in and Antonio and I ran towards the shouts. 

Christopher came running into my arms crying. "Baby!" I knelt down as he cried into my chest. 

"Shit!" Damian muttered walking in. 

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BABY BOY!?" I screamed. 

"I was just uh showing him a picture book." He said hiding the book behind his back. 

"Antonio." He nodded at me and ripped the book from Damian's grasp. 

"HEY! I'm your Alpha!"

"And she is a pregnant she wolf." Antonio said looking down at the book. "Oh shit."

"LANGUAGE! Now what is it?" I took the book from him and looked at it. "Oh you are so dead! The history of wolves book! Really?! Do you know how graphic this is with the blood and such! Damian! How could you?!"

"Well my parents read it to me when I was a kid."

"No wonder you are so sick today." I muttered. "Wait shouldn't you be meeting with Caleb? He just went to a meeting with you?"

"SHOOT! BYE!" He raced upstairs to his office. I shook my head at the clumsy Alpha. 

"C'mere Chris. Mama's got you." I hugged my baby boy to myself. 

He shivered in my arms and shook from his sobs. "T-There was a pi-picture. Two wo-wolves ri-ripping e-each other apart. I-Is that what h-happened to m-my mam-a and da-dada." 

"Oh sweetie. They are up in a wonderful place where wolves get to run free and be with loved ones. Some day you will be up there with them and all your ancestors will be there with you too."

He nodded and I sent him to Nick to go play outside for a while. I made breakfast while I planned the murder of that stupid Alpha of ours.
